@@amberayame415 haha I get the pinker undertone from my mom! She was very much on the picker side lol! I always thought I was yellow because I was half Japanese I must be lol! It wasn't until I started realizing in natural daylight because that's the truth teller that I was actually more pink peach than I thought. I actually ran into a makeup artist/cosmtelogist who was very knowledge at sephora last year and she was talking to me outside helping me choose a shade and she said look at your veins and your non self tanner areas and you are definitely more neutral almost leaning cool than you thought. She said you're definitely not yellow lol. My mom always use to say go by your jewelry if you only look good in gold than you're more warm (yellow/golden) undertone and if you only look good in Silver than your definitely more cool. Obviously there's some ppl that you can just tell right away but if you're mixed it is way more challenging! And then if you look good in both silver and gold (myself) than you are more neutral and can lean either way. That girl said that was brilliant but you can sometimes find that you just look better in a one direction which I get too. That's why more neutral peach undertones I tend to look for now with a hint of golden. I got the more yellow beige undertone Chantecaille powder more recently and did not care for the shade on me. Petal which is more rosy looks way better on me so I guess long story short 🤣 I lean more rosy than I thought lol!

Maybe you could do a poll like per item type and ask the subscribers what makeup product we have that we’d like you to use or show a look w - and if you have it too you could do it and that way you wouldn’t have to buy anything new and we could see looks or uses for items we already have 😊I think a lot of us have a lot of the Dane or similar products lol

@@KristiAllureBeauty the ND Golden is 15 shades that look like 8 different shades on lot of people. So it's not just more expensive per see you are also not actually getting 15 different shades. That's usually ignored but I think it's important. Of course some will really appreciate subtle differences in tone. I like it myself but I also notice for most people it doesn't add value
@ that’s a very valid and good point! And like you said some will appreciate and some that would look at though and not think it’s worth it. It’s all relative right. Some will just buy too because they collect and love ND palettes. I’m like you I enjoy having the different tones that may to some eyes look exactly the same. I get bored easy lol .

They are really not easy to find. I guess ND wanted to close a potential gap w her more neutral palettes. It would be great for cool toned lovers to get a counterpart to the I need a Warm. Maybe in pretty mauve and Rosy tones.

I'm so grateful for & haven't seen ANYONE else teach the mixing technique you did w/ those shimmers 🎉 I'm copying this from now on 👍 I also love the way you're able to change the shape of lower eye with liner & eyeshadow & I will be trying this too ! 😊 I just turned 47 & I'm getting some blemishes all of a sudden as well.. A product I swear by that's moisturizing & clears my acne, plus removes redness is the beautystat vit.C skin perfector. It has stabilized Vit c spheres in it but it's $85 ! I found an identical dupe that's works as good or better & it's the Ordinary Vit C serum, it even feels the same & cleared up .y skin! It's $6 ! They're niacinamide 10% serum is awesome too as well as the Retinol 5mg with squalane serum 🎉 They have a glycolicic toner that I use on blemishes before the Vit. C & none of this dries out my very dry, mature so I thought I'd just share that if you ever need it! I do it off camera when I clean up and get myself all up in the 10x magnifying mirror lol but then I said I need to start doing this on camera even if it makes the video longer. So thank you so much for sharing that feedback! I really hope those two techniques you picked up help you! As for the breakout thank you so much! I will check those out. My Drmtlgy Vitamin CEF is so good that it's already clearing it up but my goodness like you i'm like what the heck where did that blemish come from?? I wonder if it's our hormones and part the pre-menopausal process! My skin was so clear and doing so good for so long but I do notice that I wasn't eating as clean as I normally do the last month so I'm wondering if that also played a part. The last couple weeks I cleaned up my diet again and already I can see a difference even with my night sweats. I'm tiny but diet still plays a huge role with not just our physical body parts. I see it it in my mental state too lol. And I will check out those Ordinary products thank you love! My problem is I don't have an appetite hardly at all anymore, so when I finally feel like I NEED to eat something, I grab what's quick and easy.! I had a hysterectomy in Jan. & Even tho I still have my ovaries, something changed hormonaly. It's so strange, I don't even think about food now barely & it's just not appealing.. ! Even tho I'm thin, I don't feel super healthy.. My Dr lost a bunch of weight, changed to clean eating, and got off all her antidepressants! I think k that's SO cool 🥰 I've been thinking about buying a juicer, like the old school ones, remember those? The Jack LA Laine juicer! 😂 I had one bk in the day & absolutely LOVED it! @@megan4011 First off so sorry you had to go through all that with your hysterectomy! My old co-workers wife experienced similar hormonal changes after hers as well. Our poor bodies right we put it through it so much but my goodness we don't realize until after really how strong it is! That's why they say women have a little more resilience than men when it comes to pain and being ill lol. As for antidepressants, I know first hand being on them years ago now, and how much my body did not like them. And that's coming from someone who studied and sold a very famous antidepressant. I went through rigorous training with one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and understand how they really can help in critical situations! When I went on them I needed them at the time because I had the worse breakdown of my life from PTSD. But It prepped me for the worst of it after that breakdown because shorty after I lost my dad and then in 2019 lost my mom out of nowhere! My friends and family were not sure if I could handle that loss of my mom because everyone knew she was my rock she was my everything my world! We lived to together ate breakfast lunch and dinner together and were inseparable till the day she passed. So surviving that I knew I was stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. I personally could not tolerate antidepressants, and found that my body did better without them! I found that working out was my vice and what my body craved. I also adopted intermittent fasting about 6yrs ago and it's what works for me. Doesn't work for everyone and it's always important to make sure you talk to your dr to see if that works with your body. But IF works for me! it was a game changer and really helped with so many aspects of my life mentally and physically! I love food but have love hate relationship with it so fasting was perfect! My body rejects too much junk food which is good lol but sometimes I do splurge because to me that's impt life is short...in moderation. I love snacks and quick easy food like you were saying but it's also not good right lol. So meal prepping for me has always worked! This way is readily available! I'm not a big juicer fan but I'm know it can work for a lot of people! I need substance to keep me going especially since I do a lot of running and strength training and for me animal protein works and the right carbs because I also don't believe in no carb diets. Balanced macros are just so important in my opinion. So when you just rely on juices you're only satisfying your body with micros. Everyone's body is different you just find what works for you. I will do green juices once in a while for micronutrients but I don't make that a focus. I will just get some of the greens 1 from pressed juicery. But I don't make that standard thing. I live on Chomps jerky sticks because they are pretty clean and satisfying when I need something quick after my workout but eating a good meal to keep me satisfied is key! Sorry for the long explanation lol but hoped that answered your question! Love you dearly too my beautiful glamsis!!! 💕

Sorry for all the comments I keep commenting as I go- I’d actually really prefer you doing OLD products not new bc most of us don’t want to have to buy new stuff. Like, we all have makeup stashes we’d love to use up or get some use of - maybe we could get more new looks out of old products or revisit old products in makeup tutorials bc depending on diff combos, like looks will be different just switching up the combination of what you use lol😊does that make sense? I just woke up fr a really long nap lol 😂 I might not be able to successfully communicate my ideas in this moment lol 😅

As someone that owns Natasha Denona, Pat Mcgrath, Viseart and everyone else in luxury ... I do like Tarte better most of the time. They are perfectly pigmented and blend effortlessly... I never had any issues ever blending. They have multiple shimmer formulas and the satins are very similar to Viseart and the high shine one look just like Pat Mcgrath's current one and Huda but look much less textured on the eye than Huda Beauty's terrible thick, chunky shimmers. But shadows will perform very differently based on skin type, base and tools used
Yesss the shimmers very much remind me of Viseart shimmers which is impressive considering Viseart is made in France and this is made Taiwan! I found that all of the shades impressed but the darkest shade from each palette wasn’t as creamy or smooth but still had pigment which is good. Like you said it does depend on the eye lid texture and my mature eyes are just not as smooth after 46 lol! I had Tarte palettes in the past that I loved using on my younger girls like my nieces when I did their makeup. Always loved their metallics and lighter mattes so creamy!! Very impressed overall with this trio! I kept going back to Ulta swatching it in store hoping for a sale lol!! My mom always said if you keep thinking about them get it that’s how she would control from not going crazy buying everything I see at first glance!! 😂 I try to do that lol! But eyeshadows and highlighters just suck me in lol!!!
Hi Kristi 😊 👋 I have Taino Indian (PuertoRico), Spaniard, Irish, and Japanese. Despite being light cool, olive gal, I look like 50% Irish and 50 % Japanese. Imagine being four years old with golden copper hair and more Asian features, it just had never clicked for me until now. I have this cool Pic with my cousin, such Good memories. My youngest looks like keanu Reeves with blonde hair, and my oldest looks has a close resemblance to actor Simu Liu from Kim's convenience. I remember as a kid going to a lot of Japanese restaurants. I don't speak the language, but I am going to subscribe to Rosetta Stone.

@@KristiAllureBeauty the ND Golden is 15 shades that look like 8 different shades on lot of people. So it's not just more expensive per see you are also not actually getting 15 different shades. That's usually ignored but I think it's important. Of course some will really appreciate subtle differences in tone. I like it myself but I also notice for most people it doesn't add value
@ that’s a very valid and good point! And like you said some will appreciate and some that would look at though and not think it’s worth it. It’s all relative right. Some will just buy too because they collect and love ND palettes. I’m like you I enjoy having the different tones that may to some eyes look exactly the same. I get bored easy lol .

They are really not easy to find. I guess ND wanted to close a potential gap w her more neutral palettes. It would be great for cool toned lovers to get a counterpart to the I need a Warm. Maybe in pretty mauve and Rosy tones.

My problem is I don't have an appetite hardly at all anymore, so when I finally feel like I NEED to eat something, I grab what's quick and easy.! I had a hysterectomy in Jan. & Even tho I still have my ovaries, something changed hormonaly. It's so strange, I don't even think about food now barely & it's just not appealing.. ! Even tho I'm thin, I don't feel super healthy.. My Dr lost a bunch of weight, changed to clean eating, and got off all her antidepressants! I think k that's SO cool 🥰 I've been thinking about buying a juicer, like the old school ones, remember those? The Jack LA Laine juicer! 😂 I had one bk in the day & absolutely LOVED it! @@megan4011 First off so sorry you had to go through all that with your hysterectomy! My old co-workers wife experienced similar hormonal changes after hers as well. Our poor bodies right we put it through it so much but my goodness we don't realize until after really how strong it is! That's why they say women have a little more resilience than men when it comes to pain and being ill lol. As for antidepressants, I know first hand being on them years ago now, and how much my body did not like them. And that's coming from someone who studied and sold a very famous antidepressant. I went through rigorous training with one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and understand how they really can help in critical situations! When I went on them I needed them at the time because I had the worse breakdown of my life from PTSD. But It prepped me for the worst of it after that breakdown because shorty after I lost my dad and then in 2019 lost my mom out of nowhere! My friends and family were not sure if I could handle that loss of my mom because everyone knew she was my rock she was my everything my world! We lived to together ate breakfast lunch and dinner together and were inseparable till the day she passed. So surviving that I knew I was stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. I personally could not tolerate antidepressants, and found that my body did better without them! I found that working out was my vice and what my body craved. I also adopted intermittent fasting about 6yrs ago and it's what works for me. Doesn't work for everyone and it's always important to make sure you talk to your dr to see if that works with your body. But IF works for me! it was a game changer and really helped with so many aspects of my life mentally and physically! I love food but have love hate relationship with it so fasting was perfect! My body rejects too much junk food which is good lol but sometimes I do splurge because to me that's impt life is short...in moderation. I love snacks and quick easy food like you were saying but it's also not good right lol. So meal prepping for me has always worked! This way is readily available! I'm not a big juicer fan but I'm know it can work for a lot of people! I need substance to keep me going especially since I do a lot of running and strength training and for me animal protein works and the right carbs because I also don't believe in no carb diets. Balanced macros are just so important in my opinion. So when you just rely on juices you're only satisfying your body with micros. Everyone's body is different you just find what works for you. I will do green juices once in a while for micronutrients but I don't make that a focus. I will just get some of the greens 1 from pressed juicery. But I don't make that standard thing. I live on Chomps jerky sticks because they are pretty clean and satisfying when I need something quick after my workout but eating a good meal to keep me satisfied is key! Sorry for the long explanation lol but hoped that answered your question! Love you dearly too my beautiful glamsis!!! 💕

Sorry for all the comments I keep commenting as I go- I’d actually really prefer you doing OLD products not new bc most of us don’t want to have to buy new stuff. Like, we all have makeup stashes we’d love to use up or get some use of - maybe we could get more new looks out of old products or revisit old products in makeup tutorials bc depending on diff combos, like looks will be different just switching up the combination of what you use lol😊does that make sense? As someone that owns Natasha Denona, Pat Mcgrath, Viseart and everyone else in luxury ... I do like Tarte better most of the time. They are perfectly pigmented and blend effortlessly... I never had any issues ever blending. They have multiple shimmer formulas and the satins are very similar to Viseart and the high shine one look just like Pat Mcgrath's current one and Huda but look much less textured on the eye than Huda Beauty's terrible thick, chunky shimmers. But shadows will perform very differently based on skin type, base and tools used
Yesss the shimmers very much remind me of Viseart shimmers which is impressive considering Viseart is made in France and this is made Taiwan! I found that all of the shades impressed but the darkest shade from each palette wasn’t as creamy or smooth but still had pigment which is good. Like you said it does depend on the eye lid texture and my mature eyes are just not as smooth after 46 lol! I had Tarte palettes in the past that I loved using on my younger girls like my nieces when I did their makeup. Always loved their metallics and lighter mattes so creamy!! Very impressed overall with this trio! I kept going back to Ulta swatching it in store hoping for a sale lol!! My mom always said if you keep thinking about them get it that’s how she would control from not going crazy buying everything I see at first glance!! 😂 I try to do that lol! But eyeshadows and highlighters just suck me in lol!!!
