    People kept asking for him to be dropped when we signed merino. The jokes keep coming. TP does a lot of things off the ball, his passing is tier one quality, low-key dribbler (will nutmeg pressers when confidence is high), his awareness of danger when in possession, his control in tight spaces, press-resistance, hard to dispossess because he feints and attacks the gaps. A good player that can't really be replaced.

      How can u drop your best defensive midfielder?Merino is yet to settle down and to talk of Partey being dropped is simply irrational, Partey is a deep lying creative midfielder and the best in that role at Arsenal.

    The recent loss to Bournemouth was his first loss since he came back from injury... The stats were otherwise something like 12 wins, 3 draws (two of which were Bayern and City).
    It just speaks for itself... And Bournemouth we only conceded from a brilliant set piece which is unstoppable 10 v 11, and a very soft penalty.
    Partey is still our best midfielder, but I hope he can reach his beast mode form again because it's not quite there atm.

    I was in block 3 and during the second half the defensive work he did off the ball was brilliant, even at that awkward fullback role we know he doesn’t perform well in, he was brilliant.

    Party injuries pinpoint his lack of pace. Two big hamstring injuries, a hip injury, groan, ankle, and thigh injurie since joining Arsenal. He's been very unlucky.

    • @dannyscott1618
      @dannyscott1618 Месяц назад

      Not unlucky, all these injuries clearly point to a bio mechanical imbalance. This should have been identified much sooner than now. Possibly they have identified it and worked out it to strengthen let support muscles to avoid it for the future. If not he will get another injury sooner or later especially likely to happen the more dynamic and fast paced he plays.

    Your obsession with Rice is understandable, but for you to be a top midfielder you need to be calm and controlling. Even, Rice is learning more from him. Age is just a number, ask Modric

  • @dannyscott1618
    @dannyscott1618 Месяц назад

    I have not been a Partey fan, due to his likelihood of becoming injured. When a player becomes I jured and other players have become accustomed to playing with amd depending on that player it disturbs the teams balance and confidence. This in my opinion is a matter of being unlucky, all these injuries clearly point to a bio mechanical imbalance. This should have been identified much sooner than now. Possibly they have identified it and worked out it to strengthen let support muscles to avoid it for the future. If not he will get another injury sooner or later especially likely to happen the more dynamic and fast paced he plays.

    Without Timber or Calafiori., Myles Lewis- should be at full back. White or Kiwior at center. What with the constant complaints about Jesus I don’t know who MA will use on the wings (Martinelli, of course) if Saka not fit. Assuming most of the starters will be fit by December one may expect a deep run in the champions league, although fitness may affect that. Amazing how such high expectations have succumbed to injuries. Liverpool used youngsters last week to great effect, but MA seems
    reluctant to go that route. Perhaps he’ll be forced to…

  • @PaulMuturi
    @PaulMuturi Месяц назад +1

    You sound to have a bias of TP. We struggle when he is not number 6. Check out last year December, Rice was awful we didn't get a win without him in the team. We lost to Fulham, Westham etc. Rice is better as a 8

    My comment is generally to Arsonal to be very careful with teams that started with B this season last season was teams that ended with ham that spoil our point but we thought it was Aston villa alone, but it was west ham Tottenham and fullham that started harming us last season and this season it is brighton, Bournemouth.....we should be careful with others teams that start with B

    When we can't find fault we mention his age 😂
    I could think of many 30+ year olds still playing at the highest level of football across Europe, so why is age a factor to Partey?

  • @dreambigparis

    He’s just back to prime partey, his issue was never talent he just gets injured all the time. Let’s see if he lasts 20 games

    Offtopic: i dont like using Calafiori as an inverted full back..watching him in the role looks forced. he never seems comfortable in it. An issue i have with Arteta is his success in adapting players to certain roles has caused him to force roles until they become successful. but at this stage in the season we cant afford periods where the team isn't clicking because a role is being forced.

  • @rohan8arora

    Always was a top player, had a poor season and injuries which kept him on the sidelines. Arteta knows that and thats why he kept him.

    As long as Arteta is still relying on players like Sterling, Jesus and Zinchenko and not finding a formidable Striker to utilise crosses from Saka and Martinelli,Arsenal is not going to win any major trophy.

    As a normal human, I find it hilarious how 30 is “old and finished” in football 😂😂😂 I’m 28, still fresh and fit as fuck. My bro is 38, he’s probably twice as fit. I don’t get the notion that because you reach 30, you’re essentially decomposing on the field before our very eyes.

    You say that Partey has been playing better than Rice, but don't forget what an unutterably indominable force Rice was when he first came in to the team in the 6 role. Rice hasn't been given the chance to get back to what he does best.

    • @FutbolrClothing
      @FutbolrClothing Месяц назад +2

      Rice at the #6 doesn't do half of what TP provides. His passing and breaking lines in tight spaces are best in the Prem.

    • @jamesrobertson9697
      @jamesrobertson9697 Месяц назад

      @@FutbolrClothing Bollocks. Rice in 6 is literally unstoppable. You saw him for west ham, and you saw him in the 6 role with arsenal. He literally never made a single mistake. Things only changed once Arteta pushed him into the 8 role to solve that problem where arsenal were getting like 70 - 80% possession and not converting. Once the whole team is back, Rice will go back to 6.
