Out of all three of those actors, Geoffrey Rush is the only one whose character makes it out of At World's End alive, although he later dies in Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Bill Nighy must have been unintentionally making people kaugh in his grey track suit and dots. On screen though so fing scary! But he does get one little scene with him in the full pirate costume.
If you actually take a look at Bill Nighy's left hand, he uses his fingers as if they were Davy Jones' crab hand

Honestly thats a big reason why I didn't like the last movies. He just wasn't Barbossa. When he put the hat back on at the end of 4 I thought "There he is!"

Too bad it was a shit film. Perhaps I sound like a joykill asshole but I fucking LOVE LOVE LOVE these actors. BBBBbbbbut that film was a big pile of pirate excrement. Great performances from all concerned. Terrible editing and they focused on the most unimportant parts of the script. FYI I guess this might sound like bragging to idiots, but I live in Camberwell, Melbourne. So does Geoff Rush. He is the least hollywood actor ever. He loved making those films, but he's not under any illusion that they are more than light entertainment. Smoked a few bongs with him a few months ago and we watched the whole Star Wars original trilogy. Good guy.
I think everyone's the same though. I doubt there were many protests when Pirates of the Caribbean didn't win any Oscars. I was around 12 when the first one came out so it's just a nice guilty pleasure for me these days and I expect for most people.
Also please tell me that's a true story, sounds fucking awesome haha.
