No it does not, that would be an air filters job to protect the house/ air conditioning system from dust.

I heard that the Photocatalytic Oxidation produces Formaldehyde which is toxic.

Theres no such thing as duct cleaning older ducts will get tore and new ducts or also thin duck cleaning is for metal ducts in old buildings

in fact, i have learned that UV light could be harmful to our healthy. And one more question that carbon doped TiO2 i believe that the in short of time we need to replace the catalyst because it drop their efficiency, right?
UV lights are only dangerous if you expose yourself directly the the light. These are installed safely, in the duct away from your eyes or skin. I have installed dozens of these with absolutely no issues. My customers swear by them. These are doubly important in this day with the Covid-19 corona virus.

@@ManishPatel-ij7cd Well this uses the UV-C light which doesn't create ozone at all, I read in some articles that the wave lengths produced by this UV-C light produced wave lengths at 253.7 nm(nanometers) and ozone can only be produced at wave lengths of 240-180 nm(nanometers), allegedly. "Researchers" say that ozone residuals are removed, destroyed (whatever synonym you want to insert) at 250 nm - 260 nm, so in "fact" this light removes ozone at the same time, again allegedly.
I suggest everyone do their research first before putting any kind of air purifier in their home, I myself will be trying this out because of the countless great reviews I read online, in my opinion it's better than not having one. Hope this helps. Peace.
The carbon cells contain titanium dioxide, which when combined with uv light creates a photocatalytic effect and breaks the contaminates down into water vapor, cleaning itself.
