She shares how training with Sha’Carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson has helped her progress on the track and what their approach is like as a training group. About Me: I’ve been working in the track and field media space for over a decade. I went from track athlete to student-athlete reporter, to full-time journalist, with both my degrees in Sports Journalism from Michigan State University while competing on the varsity team.
I’ve worked with the best of the best in track and field and other mainstream sports at events like the NBA Draft, Millrose Games, Prefontaine Classic and Junior Olympics for The Players' Tribune, USA Track and Field, World Athletics, MileSplit and more. I've also gotten the opportunity to cover bucket list events like the U.S. Olympic Trials.
I understand the importance of telling stories the right way and I’m closing the gap by sharing different perspectives and spotlighting all types of people, athletes and journeys.

I love how Dennis has united his athletes! Think about it, people…every single athlete is a predator chasing gold FOR THEMSELVES ONLY! To be a member of a team, possess valuable resources which can make you individual Gold, and to share what you have with your team, receive what they give, and just trust you don’t have to worry about that person toppling you because you know YOU are the best is simply amazing! I’m so proud of TT!
Also, I’m that “strong friend” and I’m in major need right now, but don’t have it. My entire life, everyone has depended on me while I have no one to really depend upon. When TT was a Senior, her track mates said she is an EXCELLENT team Captain, and that she epitomizes leadership! That’s what it takes for we who are that strong friend, and I totally connect with her in all she stated on that topic. I just wish I had that strong network, because I’m the network for everyone else!
