M1ss Jade's runway look is inspired by a mythical bird in the Philippines called Ibong adarna. The legendary bird has healing powers but it's poop can also turn people into stone (just like Medusa in Greek Mythology.) That's why half of her face looks like stone/statue.

They were clearly hoping to recapture the lighting in a bottle that was "Pop Off Ate". Didn't quite get there but it was still fun. I already think the show is benefitting from being an hour rather than an hour and a half - I never felt like things were dragging.

4th Hey YC ...Your Hair lewks Pretty! ..what a Good 1st episode.... for RPDR PH ....but only 6 in the cast..I thought at 1st...then someone said they were only 1/2 the cast..? Im confused....I didn't hear the Host mention that......and I noticed the Host / transitioning? She seems thinner...more smooth then last season ..... anywho good start - they / some just need Better WIGS imo ... I feel sad for Nicole. The story was her stuff were damaged on her way from cebu to manila, including her wigs
The lighting needs fixing, yes, but my main issue is the sound. It's either so quiet you can hear their shoes squeak on the floor, or a cavacade of noises and crazy music droning out the judges critiques.

I hate to be that person but Captivating KatKat did black face and has previously made racial comments saying that why can’t someone not black use a black styled wig while black people use “white” people wigs like straight blonde hair. The comment was ignorant.
Didn't she apologized for those though? Also she didn't she do the "black face" impersonation thing back in the early 2000s, back then it was not really considered bad in the Philippines, even major TV networks do it. So why is it being dug up now? Like most of those queens have impersonated Beyonce and other black divas at one point, they only stopped doing it when the woke movement happened. Even Mamwa Pao had painted her face black when she did her Beyonce makeup transformation in the early 2010s, she even did it for Die Beautiful in 2016. The sex bomb girls did it for their Daisy Siete series too. Like why are they not being called out and yet people are ganging up on Kat-kat? Even Wally Bayola, Mamwa Pao's co-host on eat Bulaga did it from the late 2000s to 2010s. ALL of these were rooted on ignorance, since it wasn't really frowned upon here until very recently. But fr tho, if were calling out a queen for doing something like this decades ago, we should call out every Filipino entertainer who had done it.

Those comments she was saying on lives with other popular drag queens doesn’t make sense with this. And this is also pure guess but, I don’t even think your black to try and make an opinionated answer to something that does not concern you.
@@fishfeelalari611bruh do you think I'm defending her? Dude, I was asking why she's the only one being called out when there are others who should be called out too. This issue concerns the whole Philippine entertainment industry because it's an industry wide issue. It's Philippine drag and Philippine entertainment issue as much as it was a black people issue. Things like these are deeply rooted in the culture, that's why Filipinos are allowed to comment on this as much as black people can because it's an issue between the two cultures.
Also hating one person will not make this issue go away that's why everyone who did it should be called out too, but it shouldn't just have to end there, these people should be educated as well on why it's wrong.
She is ignorant but after having a discussion with her peers she has since apologized. The Philippines has a lot of learning to do when it comes to racial issues but we need to give Filipinos a chance to grow and learn, especially that the country is comprised of mostly colored and oppressed (by western colonizers) population.
