I really enjoyed hearing the farmer’s opinion ob the seeder. It appreciated his first-hand knowledge as well as results from using the equipment. Great video!
I liked how this video was a little different showing the tractor pulling into the field, setting the equipment up and going to work. Another great video BTP! Could you do a video of tractors being stuck over the past years, I always like those type videos.
That's pretty neat on seeing how the crop is planted and how the monitors keep track of seed placement and how much seed is in the hoppers in the air drill. Great video.
Billy is always a great person to visit with. Here is a ride along I filmed with Billy during double crop soybean seeding after wheat harvest in a John Deere 9620R ruclips.net/video/b05yvXtbhbc/видео.html
A great video and a great deal of information from the farmer. Technology has come a long way from back when I rode on the back of a Farmall four row planter mounted on an M. The planter had a pipe extending back behind the planter where someone could sit on a metal seat and watch the opening between the down tube and the openers to make sure the planter boxes were feeding and nothing was stopped up.
Love the power of the challenger and the seed drill, I must be getting old, we thought we were doing well with our Fergusson 29 drill, if you had a 30 drill you was top dog, found it a little difficult to hear the driver over the transmission, but still an interesting video. Kevin fox uk England
As always wonderful seeing the people and pride in quality they put in to the field. You talk about suggestions. In spring show and rows sometime. And explain the disk on a long arm. Is it used anymore?
That is about what I operated at with a Cat Challenger 95E pulling a 50 foot flexicoil and 2320 tank. Pluss a separate prickle chain behind as well. I was doing the whole job faster then most farmers were prickle chaining. I was getting 150 ac out of the tank most of the time and around 3 hours to empty it. So 50 ac/h. The last few years we started to use GPS but I didn't bother with mapping as I knew farming was coming to an end for us. Every one around us just shock there head. But it grew just the same. Dad got the set up in 2000 and we ran in up till 2016 when we sold the farm. The air seedier is now on another farm near where we were. and the tractor is still going strong on the other side of Australia. On a side note My dad and grandpa missed out on being the first farmers in South Australia to have a Cat Callenger 75c by one hour. That was a good tractor as well. My grandpa had been running Cat crawlers right back to a D4.
@@piperdoug428 Hi yes I thought some one might ask that. It is a machine with chains with a bunch of spikes welded to it. The chains are mounted on a frame at 45 degrees to the direction of travel. As you move for wed the chains spin and the spikes dig into the ground and level out the furrow mounds. So like rotating harrows. Designed to git through lots of rubbish. Made for minimum tillage.
Thank you. I am always honored new subscribers follow BTP each day by the hundreds. It took 8 years and 2 moths to reach 100K and in 11 months since then there have been 71,000 additional subscriptions.
Good to see the old R Model hauling seed ! Impressive set up for sure , both the seeder and grain handling system ! Are those hoop buildings green houses or something else ? Thanks for the video!
Hi Jason, was that ground disced just once after corn?,if so very impressive residue breakdown, also why do they disc rather than no tilling the wheat in? ( I,m old fashioned and much prefer the look of the tilled seedbed)
Wow dont often see the owner of such a big outfit running equipment. Can you tell me how the challenger handled the headlands for vibrations, i run a T9.615 on the high idler tracks (in some of my vids) and its quite bad for vibrations across the packer runs.
Sorry to post in all caps...but this question has been asked on 3 different farm video.... CAN SEED RICE WITH A WHEAT DRILL SEEDER!!!!!!!!! AND IF NOT WHAT ATTACHMENTS DO I NEED!! ALSOO.......DOES ANYONE SEED RICE WITH A GRAIN DRILL.!
Jason, This is farming on steroids, and all you need to do brain surgery after planting is a couple of nurses in the cab and a billing dept.,not lacking in monitors.

So interesting hearing the farmer explain what he’s doing 😀👍🏾🚜🚜🚜🚜 thanks
There it is !!! 2095ft lbs of Torque, Thanks BTP, Thumbs up.
I though of you 😁. It was right in the literature. If they list I can report it.
@@bigtractorpower, Haha ! Much appreciated !

Great set up. Horsch makes some outstanding equipment and that Challenger is hauling at 9.5+ MPH! Wow. Cheers
Billy's awesome... Hope you can continue to get some more videos with him.

It is massive, the whole rig is just enormous, thanks for sharing

It’s always interesting to listen to the farmers perspective on why they do what they do

That drill has got more rubber than a men's bathroom vending machine.

Great video, that’s really nice equipment, 600 hp that’s a lot of power!!!
It’s a strong tractor. It will out pace a wheeled 620 hp tractor.
Great video btp, wonderful explanation of the technology and the planter.
Massive 🚜 👍👍
Great video thanks Jason
Thank you for watching.
Jason I love your videos
Thank you Jimmy.
glad to see the equipment sales guy and the fuel man happy......

Best video yet! Thanks mann, cat power!
Great video! Amazing machines tractor and drill. Keep up the good work on making videos truly enjoy watching them!!
Thank you for watching. It’s fun to film and share these machines.
Prediction: based on current subscriber rate, BTP to hit 200K before Xmas
With the quality of videos put out, it should ;)

Cool farm machine!!!

Friday Fun. Enjoyed🚜👍
Great video from start to finish.
Aí é super máquina muita força
Great Video , Love this Tractor & Drill.
Very nice rig! Farming has come so far with computers.
Could they use these massive air drills to plant corn or soybeans ?
Cool tractor. I wish they were still orange and said Allis-Chalmers on the side 🙂
allis chamlers are done dried up these are not allis they are caterpillar
@@joescheller6680 well they are still part of Allis-Gleaner corporation

Yes those are green houses for raising transplants for 400 acres of tobacco. The farm’s bins hold 3 million bushels. It’s a big bin system.

What you need is a wide camera lense for cab shots.. can't see nothing but scenery
Impressive machinery thanks for sharing
Thanks and thank you for watching. Let me work let me live
Some vert nice equipment 👍🚜
Currently watching this while spreading wheat at 22mph...
Nice one. I was thinking the same thing 👍

It seems really noisy in the cab, BTP, I thought it would be quieter ...nice video...I like those Challengers
It’s my camera it was under an air Condtioning very. It’s a nice quite cab.
Does Caterpillar still make the motor? I heard all the specs.
It is an AGCO engine. I may have for got to mention that detail.
Most powerful tractor
Adoro esses tratores 👍😃🇧🇷
What type of fertilizer do they pit down for the whrat
Thanks
The monster
Howdy wondering if that Challenger has air ride cab thx
no air ride very rough ride at high speeds
@@joescheller6680 I actually installed airbags on our Challenger , it wasn't easy but it is duable. Very nice ride now
Air bags would be a great thing
Is this the same tractor that was broken in the spring
Wonder why he doesn’t use TMS in the tractor, save a a lot of fuel and noise to do the same job
next video, same implement on the jd with tripples?
Yes they have a 3rd drill on a 9620RX as well.
How much does that tractor weigh
There are 4,840 square yards per acre. If he is putting down 400 seeds per square yard that would be 1,936,000 seeds per acre. Just say'n.
Amazing, just one question When and How do you ferilize ?¡
They fertilize right after the corn is harvested and then they disk the stalks and fertilizer in and then seed.
Lot of noice in the cabin ?
"amber waves of grain"
Man that cab is loud. Sounds like the cab of my old international 4366 I used to have.
The load sound is my micro phone picking up the air Condtioning. It happens in a brands of tractors. It’s a quite ride.
They are loud in the cab with a loud high pitch noise under your seat.
Very loud cabine !
It is not the cab. It is my camera picking up the air Condtioning. I was sitting near a vent.
How come Philip Garnett is never on the videos
Have you ever known Phillip to be in one place very long 😁
Challenger Mt 875E tractor price
Nem lehet semmi,egy traktor!!
Horsch horsch horsch. 😛
You should NEVER un-fold a wing-up implement while moving
Must be nice to have no stones. You pull a cultivator at 9.5 MPH in a stony field and you'll wreck it.
They have some stones but not in great amounts luckily.
👍👍
One of the noisiest cabs I’ve heard.
I thought that- Mike Less,s new versatile comes a close second I think
Seems too noisy and bouncy for me in the cab.
JIM
😊

Noisy tractor
It is the air Condtioning blowing on my camera. It’s a quite tractor.
