Oh you poor souls started with Aeon for Crystal Lake!! It's just a brutal assault on all levels. But you should totally see the live performance of this song though... a sweet treat. Crystal Lake is one of my favorite bands, they have such a wide range.

@@JoshThieler They have that same energy on stage too. I finally saw them when I flew to Japan last year right before lockdowms for COVID. SO AMAZING!!

By chance, have you come across the Japanese band, Deviloof? For some crazy and brutal vocals, I recommend checking them out. They recently released a new MV....Deviloof -Newspeak.

As someone who almost exclusively listens to Japanese metal bands of all styles and genres, Crystal Lake are genuinely in a league of their own. Absolute brutality.
Good thing to remember about Crystal Lake and something you'll notice if you listen to more: it isn't a Crystal Lake song without at least 2 breakdowns haha.
That being said, this is one of their experimental songs, like Disobey, and they aren't usually quite this heavy and out there. They're always heavy, and always bring what I hear as a Pantera style heavy groove to their music, but this is them at their most extreme.
@@omegashinra7672 I plan to add Disobey to the things we react to and I will modify my expectations so I'm not waiting to hear everything they do be as heavy as Aeon
