There is something bittersweet about aging is whenever you recollect the past and you are lost in your thoughts. You reflect on how life was back then and you imagine how life could have been if everyone is the same as back then. It’s nostalgic and melancholy. This last scene is poignant.
Just in general thought.... It takes lot of courage to accept aging. U need to respect the one who's seen more seasons then us.... Not just actors but even commoners.. Yes its truly bittersweet.. Something which we'll never accept but it will still happen
I think for me, the saddest thing about Zhou shengchen was not his death but how he faced it. His attitude through his life and death-no complaining, very stoic. Everything that happened to him from leaving the central state as a child, making an oath not to marry and have children for the sake of peace, watching the love of his life marry someone else and then been accused and killed; all were unfair but he faced everything without complaint.
When the 4 of them then Zhou Shengchen and Shi Yi appeared my tears just couldn’t stop 🤧🤧 This is probably the first or second time after watching The Untamed that I’ve cried from a drama and that says a lot
