    This is literally amazing. No one else goes into this much depth. You’ve pretty much set out every single step to working up to the 3 turn. I know exactly what to do now thank you :)

    Practicing on the wall was key for me and yeilded success. Most other videos don't include that helpful tip.

      I am just checking out your video after my adult group class. The inside 3 turn has been very difficult for me. Can’t wait to try your suggestions especially using the free leg to pivot; as well as the knee bends. Thanks

    Tip that helped me a lot: Focus on entering this turn on a CURVE. I started practicing it in a straight line with made it significantly harder. Enter on a curve.

      Yes we do it to turn a corner initially, when you enter with a curve your edges are more likely to help you work the blade so it naturally rocks itself 👍🏼

    Nice , nice, very helpfull :) I will start using that tips of pivot in my forward inside three turn. I'm just afraid of falling backwards when I turn. :O Best wishes --Anu

      Just pop your foot down if that happens 👍🏼

    I really liked the progression of two feet turn on one foot and out foot down again then pick it back up. I can do left forward Outside three turns easily but I can't get the right FO3turn or inside three turns yet. I would love to see tips on more basic and pre freestyle skills..

    Thank you! What does "pushing to glide, not pushing to turn" mean?

    • @iskatecoach
      @iskatecoach  3 года назад +3

      Oooh so sometimes a skater uses the push off to create rotation. So pushing to “spin” rather than pushing to glide forwards THEN create rotation from the shoulders on that glide. I hope that makes sense

    My problem is I understand exactly what to do, I just can’t balance long enough to do it 😵‍💫

      Work those edges 👍🏼 count how long you can stay on one foot or measure the length of the edges to get a target to beat! 😀
