    I will give the long shrink tube section & see if I can still get bites from the majority of the sub doubles ( just one twenty in the lake )
    Some carp have bad old line damaged mouths from the match types that pump them in
    The shrink tubing section looks kinder to the carps mouths

    2 secrets of silt fishing find out what kind of silt it is then decide to fish in or fish on it

    If you're fishing amongst much deeper silt I don't think you'd get away with using a lead clip setup, you wouldn't get good presentation, never mind your hooking potential
