That 'Dakota Sunspot' and 'Mango Tango' sure are attractive looking! I don't have these, but seen them available. I LOVE the orange double flowered 'Lady Marmalade' AKA 'Marmalade' a nice compact selection and 'Tangerine Tango' that puts on a very striking show!

Yes. It is up about 10” in a bit of an odd rectangular shape. I’m just finishing up an update video on a few of the potentillas (and other shrubs), to show how they turned out. Should be posted in about a week.
If you prune back quite a bit (1/3 to 1/2), I’d do it in late winter before they break dormancy. If you only take a couple of inches to remove old flower heads, you could do that in the spring, even after growth has started.
Hey I have 4 potentilla shrubs unfortunately I only discovered gardening a few years ago after my puberty so 1 of the 4 is almost dead looking can she be revived or should I exchange her to a new one ?

Only one little sprout so far, but we have been very cold, so I am not surprised at the slow progress. I’ll let you know in a month how it turns out.

Many sites consider Shrubby Cinquefoil to be weeds

It sounds like you probably should change it out if it has been in decline each year.
