    I love the hanging out on the couch scenario! I’d assume it’s more laid-back and natural for you guys and that’s what I love about you… Plus, we miss you guys and would love the chance to hang out on a couch somewhere!

    I liked the sit on the couch chatting thing. It helps solidify the parasocial relationship that I have with you (LOL).

    We've been on the road over a year, and we just love brown rice cakes dipped in dark chocolate. They are especially easy to find and lowest price in eastern Euro countries. Also, good ole fashioned popcorn is ultra-popular in places like Romania and Serbia. Our go to "travel-day" food/snack are breakfast/egg sandwiches. They keep well without refrigeration, and provide the protein punch needed for those long days.

    I like the relaxed, informal format. I think you hit on the most important thing of all when deciding where to go...what places fascinate you and have been a curiosity for you to visit? Don't follow the crowd that's going to stick to the top 10 this or that. It will probably be too crowded there anyway. As an example, I always had this curiosity about the Azores, I'm not sure why but I did. So I went there about 10 years ago and loved it. It's not generally on the top 10 list of places to see in Europe, but that's ok. It was on my top 10 list of places I was curious about. As for when to go, I'm looking for pleasant, warm temperatures and the least rainy time of the year. Congratulations on 10K!

      The Azores is a great example! I think cruises may know about it, but not many others. Good on you! Thank you

    In Central and Eastern Europe, sparkling water is called "water with gas" in English and bottles have blue tops. Still water ("no gas") comes in bottles with pink tops.

    Patagonia? What hikes are you looking at? 5 minutes before I started watching this Andy sent me a link for the W Trek. It's been on his list for a couple of years.

    When you go on an excursion, do you typically book them in advance? Or do you plan your own excursions? We will be in Vietnam the month of March and are wondering about that and also if it would be smarter to choose Saigon for two weeks/Hoi A for two weeks or pick one for the month? (Assuming you have been in Vietnam).

    • @EatWalkLearn
      @EatWalkLearn  25 дней назад

      We do our own excursions or wait until we're in country to book locally. We loved Hoi An for a week. Have not been to HMC.

    How do you find volunteer options in the countries you visit?

      Many times we check Facebook events. But often it's a flyer or just seeing something we see in the community.
