Very original approach! I like what you've done here. Could definitely imagine the show working with the whole score in this vibe! Best of luck in the competition :)
Blair, like everyone says, you did a very unique and beautiful way! and I enjoyed it 'til the end! How cool! Thanks for commenting on mine and good luck to you, too!!
This is some original and fluid scoring.the thing i love that you put me on whimsical when the violin hits on the title card.brilliance!overall such a great arrangement.good luck to you❤️
Yup, I sure did go left of centre! I worked hard trying to get 'a big moment' for the scandal! Seems the two blondes in the carriage are up to something!
Well I didn’t expect to hear this arrangement and I must say it was refreshing, especially the violin parts, haven’t got a solo violin sample to use myself (jealous)😂, worked well with the short clip. I wish you all the best! Good luck🎹
Wow... you did make a left turn on this, but it's really clever! Well done! The southern bell flavor it an interesting counterpoint to the gilded empire imagery. Kudos and good luck!
Thanks so much for your kind words! I found doing this ever so difficult, I've taken quite a risk! I really do love classical and the baroque period is my favourite! Good luck to you too!
I really like your approach as well as your execution of it. I think it really glues a unique feel to the scenes and it works. It feels like the creatives behind the show made a very specific decision and, again, executed it well (obviously I mean if the show was made with your score, and that the creatives behind this particular interpretation are you!) Great job!
Wow! What a lovely comment and thank you so very much. I painstakingly sat down and really listened to the narrator and tried to use some of the buzz words to add emotion and intrigue. Especially when the two blondes in the carriage look like they might be scheming and up to something for future episodes and of course the word 'scandal' in the narrative. I really tried to thread the theme with variation and the transitioning was tough going at times! Many thanks again!
Thank you Antonio! I really did try and support the narrative but still try and keep the energy and thread running through. I use to do some acting years back and one thing I learned is not to upstage!
AHhhh, that's GREAT, Blair! See, now you've managed to surprise! 😄👍 ...totally puts it on another continent, but gracefully so. I've enjoyed what you've created! Good Luck! 🤞
Funny, I always really liked the theme tune to Versailles, think it was by M83 a track called Outro, but I call 'Now and Forever' an Indie Rock band not at all of the period 17 century but it worked! I was going to stick to a more Regency style, but thought, nah Bridgerton is a bit tongue in cheek not a documentary so what the heck! Do something different!
@@blairbooth Hehehe, well, that's really 19th century, so it's much, much closer to Indie Rock bands than you thought! 😄...but, yeah, going with your gut and your heart always brings out a truth and ends up working. It's when we overthink things when stuff goes sideways. And you are literally "on track", hehehe! 😉🤠
@@taronsmusicalexplorations5742 OK! I'm getting nit picky!!!... Louis XIV reign was from 1643 to his death 1715, so crossed into both the 17th and 18th century. But absolutely true to say much closer to Indie Rock bands! Maybe it's the hair? 😃😃
@@blairbooth AH, nah, I mean Bridgerton itself. It plays in the early 1800s (19th century). Just a slight misunderstanding of mine. Sorry about that! ☺🤗
LIKE and my congratulations for your effort and your score! great job ! I could also do my entry! Greetings from Argentina and good luck with your score! Where are you from?
A very memorable score. You did great! Congratulations! 🙂
Such an interesting combination of bluesy with classical chamber sounds! Best of luck in the competition.

You're a STAR!!!!
Very charmy and playful. I love it!
I like this version a lot. Really special, distinctive and different but still fitting very well to the scene. Great job and good luck!
Wow. Just wow. Well spotted, playful, diverse and yet coherent. And it sounds amazing. Ladies & Gentleman: this is how it's done.
What a lovely comment and thank you so much! Gotta say it was tough going for me doing this score....nearly gave up 3 times!
@@blairbooth Glad you didn’t!

AH Clever, I like this country atmosphere you created, gives a completely fresh feel. Best of luck man
Wow, I was not expecting this but it works and is beautifully done!
Fantastic! Love the approach!
I like your approach very much! It tells the story with a different flavour and concept. It works, I love it!

Nice work! 😊 A unique approach, done very well!
Lovely to hear a different take. I really loved that shade bend on "scandal", gave me a naughty smile.

A fun interpretation Blair! Best wishes in the competition.

Excellent work! Innovative and experimental and it works....This is so different from mine approach.... Best of luck on the competition!!!!
Amazing work - sounds fantastic! what is it about those stairs and the melody F#,E,D? - great minds clearly think alike😎
Yup! Fsharp, E D have a lot of drama! I'm glad I put it in as it was an after thought and wasn't sure I could be bothered!!!
Beautiful music i really enjoyed it blair😊🎶🎶👍
great, wish you the best of luck on the competition
Thanks, you too!
I enjoyed listening to your composition. The music never got in the way of the dialog, but enhanced the narration. Well done! Wish you best of luck!!!
