I have to agree with Amna on Maryam N’s wardrobe. When you are governing an improvised nation it looks tacky to wear wardrobe pieces that costs several thousand USDs. She needs to have a separate work wardrobe that excludes high end international luxury pieces.

i dont agree to this. unfortunately everything has become a matter of critique these days. Amna is only highlighting how the position of CM of an underdeveloped country comes with its requirement of "humility" and even tho she can dress up the way she pleases at her personal gatherings, her wardrobe shouldn't come off as a show off of luxurious clothing.

Aamna ji, Maryam nawaz was my classmate & she is only 1 year older than you. Her skin was always flawless. & her food was very good. probably she became more health conscious & further improved healthy eating in later years. I must tell you that I went to her house ( PM house) & the food I had was unmatchable to anything before or after. The sweet dish I had is still to be found. I think she has done a bit of aesthetics but her food & genetics of skin plays major role. She wasn't into biryani & paya & has good control to not to eat when table was full of such things. She was chubby then. PS: I have not met her in 30 years now.
She has good skin no doubt, but she has done face lifts, it’s not possible to have no wrinkles at this age. I am told I don’t look my age, I’m 50 but even I can see my lines.

I have 7 major surgeries & a lot of stress in life., yet u can't find a single wrinkle on my face, yes my hair are gone grey but no wrinkles & no facelift or any botox. I m not as rich as herself in terms having personal chef , trainer or aesthetician. I adopted healthy living much later than hers & yet no wrinkles.

I disagree with Amna on Mariam nawaz being a civil servant should not wear international brands. Who made this rule?And what's inflation got to do with dresses? I think it's her right to wear whatever she wants to sinces she's representing Pakistan. One should get atleast this much lenience. The only objective should be is she looking fine or good enough to represent.
If you notice she've always choose local brands for her dresses, and then if she adds a little bit of international brands in her bag or shoe is absolutely fine.It's a good mix of both. And when it comes to a humbleness in her dress, it's absolutely 100% there. The colour choice/theme, she always wear is sutle yet elite. I just love her pastels, one solid colour and non printed dresses. Also she always wears eastern attire and a dupatta on her head keeping in mind she's representing an Islamic state and so keep the tradition alive. She's 100% giving humble vibes and I think she's one of the best representators of Pakistan in terms of dressing.
