Here's my advice. Don't look for a job in social media, create your own instead! You don't need to work for someone else in this field, you can create your own business and do it yourself as long as you have the skills to back it up. It's not an easy field, and most people expect it to be a lot simpler than it is, but if you can deliver value for clients, you're set.
