He said, I thought they were ok, but knowing what you like, I think you're going to love this. Within my circle of friends, it's a cult classic now. Louisville isn't that far from home, two hours. I, for one, come from a rock-blues background, and know very little about country as a whole. But I also have a real jones for talented singer-songwriter stuff, and Sturgill has it all: Folk, bluegrass, Americana, alternative, blues, and a healthy dose of rock - and all very forward-looking while channeling the past.
