What a beautiful design and the little girl is adorable! I sure do miss living in Germany....my grandparents are from Munich. Is face painting very popular there as a profession?
Marion Esposito I am not a native German myself but I've been living here 15 years now. There are quite a lot of face painters around but in my opinion the market is far from being saturated because the demand is very high. Face painting is very popular, especially around carnival time but I am busy all year - except maybe in August, December and January, which are the slow months around here. Face painting is only a part time job for me but it keeps me much busier than I thought when I first started!
MAGNIFIQUE comme toujours !! merci pour votre gentillesse de partager votre talent , et nous enseigner avec autant de précision . et bravo au model ! une vrai princesse !!!!MERCI
darrieedge The exact reference of the glue I am using is in the description under the video (click on "show more" and scroll down). Mine is from Kryolan but other brands offer something similar (like Grimas for example). I think I got it on Amazon but it was a while ago so I can't remember exactly.
2015 october. I love love love this ladies work. Thank you for inspiring me to do my own facepaintings. I have made my purchases carefully off the back of your tutorials. I will take for ever to be as good as you but am loving trying. Please post more if you are still doing these. Lovely just lovely. I shall look for other seasonal tutorials from you for both Halloween and Christmas.
+Sunny Lea It will not take forever. Just keep practicing regularly and you will see how fast you make progress. Believe me, it's not rocket science.... just "muscle memory"! The most important part is to enjoy the process 💜
Kim Millen Thanks a lot! You can find this information if you unscroll the description box under the video. I think this one was from Kryolan but other brands carry water soluble skin glues (Grimes for example).
+Sfx For line work I use Wofe FX white or Diamond FX. Wolfe is slightly better but very hard to find. Diamond FX is a very good alternative. The white from Snazarro cannot be used for line work (with the brush), it's way too thin and provides no decent coverage on the skin. You can use it however as a base color with the sponge, when you're painting a skull for example.
misshoneyvd In this video I think I was using the "White fairy dust" glitter from Mama Clown (available at Silly Farm). It's a very fine and very pretty iridescent glitter color that goes well on any color of face paint. I sometimes use the glitter #200136 from Ybody, which is very similar.
If the gem is large, I use the pink glue (usually used for glitter tattoos) and I give a small alcohol wet wipe to the parents to clean the stickiness in the evening. If the gem is small, I use a water solvant glue from Grimas. Hope this helps.
