    I did the same very early on May 23, it was fantastic, but we kept going down after the demon´s hall and walked to Kifune, great activity and ate there, then we took the train back to Kyoto and visited Gyon.

    I read somewhere that usually people are not allowed to ring the huge temple bells... is it true?

      There aren't many temples that allow tourists to ring the bells, but it seems that tourists are free to ring the bell at Kurama Temple.
      By the way, there was a wooden sign near the bell that said, "Take a deep breath, calm your mind, and then ring the bell gently and quietly.Ringing it gently will produce a nice sound." 🔔
      If you visit Kurama Temple, please try ringing it gently 🎵
