[4K] Travel Diary to "Okadera temple" in Nara | Japan📗
The destination of this trip is "Okadera Temple".
Okadera Temple in Nara Prefecture is famous as the oldest temple in Japan for warding off evil spirits. Okadera Temple is also known as the "Flower Temple" and is known for its beautiful seasonal flowers and autumn leaves. We visited during the peak season for autumn leaves, so the combination of the three-story pagoda and the autumn leaves was very beautiful. The temple was also lit up from the evening on the day we visited. The illumination, which is the largest in Japan, was done with over 130 Japanese umbrellas, which was quite surprising.

I read somewhere that usually people are not allowed to ring the huge temple bells... is it true?
Thank you for your comment ^^ There aren't many temples that allow tourists to ring the bells, but it seems that tourists are free to ring the bell at Kurama Temple. By the way, there was a wooden sign near the bell that said, "Take a deep breath, calm your mind, and then ring the bell gently and quietly.Ringing it gently will produce a nice sound." 🔔 If you visit Kurama Temple, please try ringing it gently 🎵

Hi, thanks for sharing. How much time required to visit Todaiji in your video😅 Did you spend the whole day in Nara?😊
Thank you for your comment.😊 We arrived at Todaiji Temple at 12:00. We passed through the entrance, Nandaimon Gate, and finished looking at the Great Buddha Hall at 13:00, then moved to the Nigatsudo Hall and Hokkedo Hall, finishing at 13:40. We turned back from there and took our time eating ice cream and relaxing on the way, so by the time we passed through the Nandaimon Gate on our way back, it was 16:20. If you go around slowly, it took about three and a half hours. Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Kofuku-ji Temple are also nearby, so if you have time, I recommend visiting them as well.💡 I hope this information will be helpful for your trip.😌
Thanks for the detailed explanation. Well planned itinerary😄
We are very happy that you watched this video.😌 We hope your trip to Japan is a good one.✨️

I guess you don’t have to make reservations for the restaurant to eat by the river.
Thank you for watching & commenting! We didn't know the arrival time to Kifune Shrine in advance, so we went without making a restaurant reservation. It may be better to make a reservation on days when people are crowded, such as weekends(^^) Is it appropriate to answer your comment?(><)
