    Thanks for taking us thru the shock removal/install process so I ever feel or have the need. Surprisingly I'm really liking the stock air shock (I'm about your weight & I do 190psi). Take curb hits easy & makes the roughies totally bearable as I like my suspension firmer rather than plush. Regardless, I'm happy its such an easy & inexpensive replacement process & best of all, I know how to from your vid. Good stuff Marty. Tho I felt the ex30 was a tank at first, now with >600miles in, I really like it. The 'elevator effect' seems endless & so easy to ride fast. Almost feels like 40 is the new 30, mph that is. Speed isnt everything for me but full sends are. & the ex30 is made exactly for this purpose. It even impresses me offroad which is more than surprisingly considering how heavy this beast is. & the ex30 is a BEAST of a wheel, in the best way possible. Good vid bud

      Thanks Scott. Yeah, I REALLY like the EX30 ride. It's probably going to be one of my main go-to wheels.

    Marty, tell me to harden the spring, i.e. to make it harder, you need to twist the spring to make it tighter or you need to loosen it and unscrew the spring to make it hard. I wish you a speedy recovery.... we are waiting....❤

    Enginuatty and craftsmanship in this video Marty is wonderful. I want to do the same setup if I get my EX30 and I'm 240lbs dude without gear 😅 do you think I should just go with sherman S to handle my weight or this setup is enough on EX30. Also do you think the 200mm shock would work better? I'm leaning more towards buying the EX30. Finally, I'm not sure which batch of EX30 you have, but can you please make a video of your review about it after certain miles of experience with it? Thank you.

    Top 3 Wheels Right Now:
    -Commander Pro -EX30 -Sherman S
    If I can only have one, I’m going with…

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  Год назад +1

      It's hard to go wrong with either one of those. From a practical point of view you can get the Commander Pro and EX30 for about a $1k less than the Sherman S. So there's that 🙂
      Personally, I bought the EX30 because I prefer that suspension design.

    • @EUC-NYC-GUY
      @EUC-NYC-GUY Год назад +1

      @@ElectricUnicycles thank you for the breakdown. Makes sense but at $3k I prefer to spend the extra $1k if necessary… which begs the question, what advantage (if any) does the Sherman-S have over the other two options? I’m guessing build quality? Longevity? Nicer design and smoother ride? Heavier (denser) and more stable?
      Also, I guess the Master Pro is out of the running against these 3? Mostly due to QC?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  Год назад

      @@EUC-NYC-GUY Not sure what you mean by QC differences between the Master Pro and the other wheels. The Master Pro is probably my favorite wheel due to its extreme comfort and long range capabilities.
      But for a more general purpose wheel wheel the other 3 are better.
      The EX30 suspension is very easy to change (both the linkage design and the shock type that you want to use). With the Commander Pro and Sherman S you're stuck with what they give you and if and of those suspensions break it'll be a lot more expensive to fix.

    What keeps me riding hyper scooters is this EUC business of upgrading pedals, fairings, bumpers, pads, shock, and tire on day Zero to an already $4K wheel. An additional $900 to $1500 later and it's rideable. A used 2023 Ducati Monster 1K miles might be $8K. Not to mention all the EUC software or torque induced face plant injury and charging fire videos. I get a $4K scooter, put a phone and water bottle holder on for $40 and I'm rolling 50mph.

    Coil shocks have practically 0 upsides. I wouldnt consider it an "upgrade". Sadly placebo effect is really strong. Aswell as wanting to fit in. And the bias to appeal to the croud, ect ect. Its not like its a silly mistake, but is is a mistake.
    Instead I would recomend looking into an airshock with the added chamber at one side, that indeed is an upgrade assuming you can fit it on.
