this song is, very obviously, crazy hard to do. just recording this thing in its entirety must have been a marathon (not a sprint) but to go out and perform it like this, is another thing entirely. the first time i heard him take his adlibs up the octave at the end (higher than they are already recorded!), i fell out of my seat. very few vocalists can do what he does, even lesser can do it up on a stage that big. to debut a group called rising gods of the east is a hell of a prophecy to live up to, but changmin has shown pure grit, perseverance, and transformed his raw talent into a spectacle. insane how he commands a stage. stupendous. he is untouchable.

Hahah, Changmin and Yunho are so amazing at their live performances that they trick people into thinking they are lipsyncing. Don’t worry you not the only one, many people made that mistake. The reason I know t they sing live is one because I can tell the subtle difference when they sing live compared to their tracks. But mostly because when they were early in the career they did lipsync and it was so horrible that everyone noticed. So they had to sing live and thank goodness for that for us fans. 🤣
