I’m a flight attendant for Spirit based at IAH, so that’s all so very familiar to me. That green tree isn’t growing. It’s a dead art piece. I could see you sat in the row behind the big front seat, which is the actual smallest. Tall people should sit in the exit row, if the Big Front Seat isn’t available. Glad you didn’t totally crap on Spirit like most people are doing in the comments. The pilots always get off of the plane first because they usually have to run to another plane to fly back. Any other questions you have, I’m happy to answer!

Would you happen to know if you can change a flight using miles without paying a fee? It seems that If you cancel a flight you have to pay to get miles reinstated but it wasn’t clear if that would apply to a change. Again sorry for any imposition
I have flown on Spirit three times in July and spirit was late twice which was not too bad. My flights only cost 20 bucks each way. I like how I can bid for the exit row. I always fly seated in the exit row. So spirit is doing pretty good in July for me. Headed down to Orlando next with tropical storm Debby so we will see what happens.
@@CarolCap131 they don’t have canceled or change fees anymore! They are making some big changes to be a better airline. As for as delays and cancellations, that’s usually because of weather somewhere. The planes fly all over the country, so bad weather anywhere can delay the flights. Your very best bet is to fly the very first flight of the day. A much less change of a delay.

I’ve usually found that spirit is pretty equivalent on most things and I love big front seats and exit aisles! Not that this makes any difference... :) Love your videos!!! Glad you made it to the show! Non-Stop Flight = a flight that goes from one place to another without stopping. PHX to MCO, no stopping. Direct Flight = a flight that goes from PHX and makes a stop in ATL but you don't get off of the plane and then head to MCO. Connecting Flight = a flight from PHX and stops in ATL and changes planes, then heads to MCO. Layover - the time between your connecting flights.
I get antsy, so for me, connecting flights are best. I can walk, eat and use the restroom. I've flown a lot. Figured this way is best for me personally 😊.
There’s a Peoplemover at that airport in Houston that was built by Disney in the early 80’s and it’s still operating today. It goes from the terminal to a hotel.
You cannot beat Spirit on cheap: I’ve flown from Louisville, to Florida, for $20, even back the same day. Just know that the seats almost guarantee a backache, in an hour. But for $20, I now pop a Few Tylenols and bring my own seat cushion! 😂
When I was 13 one of my first concerts was GreenDay and they were playing at the basketball arena at SUNY Albany where I live. Whole thing was GA, got about 10 ft from the stage. I've seen them several times since but never that close. I'm 41 now lol.
I saw Stephen Stills in a small venue in Houston in the 80’s. And Neil Young at Astro World around the same time. And Jimmy Buffet around 2005 and The Beatles at the Houston Coliseum in 1964. Wow - am I dating myself. Lifetime memories. So glad you got to make yours.

Flights get delayed a lot in summer due to storms. Always Look where your plane comes from not just where u r going. Routes matter. Been spirit credit card holder and free spirit 9 dollar club member 8 years never have had a problem. I book direct Charleston SC to Vegas. Then Vegas to lax or sna or Burbank. Or atl to lax. I live in Myrtle. Big seats rule avoid row behind big seats it’s the smallest row.
Don't know which day you're planning on going to the Cardinals game, but the weather Wed and Thurs is forecasted to be pleasant. Tues, not so much. Enjoy the game!

Adam - if you are still heading to St. Louis a couple of things for you. 1. The tickets for the stadium tour are sold at the cardinals museum across the street at the cardinals museum in ball park village on the SECOND floor. 2. While at the game get a slinger dog. A most unique hotdog. 3. As a baseball fan, consider going to the Rawlings baseball store in Westport plaza. This is 20 -30 minutes from downtown. You will see memorabilia as well as the most expensive baseball glove that I know to exist not used by a player. On the second floor is a virtual baseball hitting program. Free and fun. Have a safe trip and thank you for all you do.
This was a helpful video. Will be our first time using Spirit in Sept for a quick Universal Hollywood and HHN visit then Oct. will be Orlando. The shuttle bus from the airport to taxi/Uber area at LAX was not a known fact to us so was great information and we will feel less shocked upon arrival. Is it a long transition time from LAX to taxi lot? I know LA traffic and parking can be a whole thing but I still wonder if renting a car is worth it or not. welcome to the spirit family. I only fly Spirit because it's super cheap and I have nowhere to be. They have canceled me twice. They gave me four vouchers for $50 each that were completely worthless because they could not be used to where I fly to all the time. Lately, the passengers and stewardesses have been pretty well-behaved. Don't ever try to get a refund it is impossible! Don't waste your breath or your time. If they cancel your flight you have lost your money. It is kind of like a bet in Las Vegas flying with spirit.
