Boy, do I remember the frustration on this map. But I also remember some really good times playing it too. Nothing like the feeling of finally getting off that beach and capping that damn bunker flag. There was a sense of reward after that tough grind up that hill. The artillery spotting was key. If you had a good spotter and artilleryman, you can dominate this map. If I remember correctly, you could not reach those back death guns with the ship in its starting position, so it had to be moved closer to the beach. However, it was then vulnerable to said death guns. Either way, I have many fond memories of this map. The artillery spotting was so fun!

The way to play this map is to throw bodies at the right hill until you break through, then keep flanking and take the top flag. Don't even bother with the bunkers. Tell your team when you're about to take the flag and to hold their spawns. Then you instantly flip sides and now the Germans are the ones fighting uphill.

1 Year has passed since Cerber Landing video and Gravity delivered. Also I agree that certain sociopathic spectrum individuals do enjoy this kind of mindless meat grinders so 1 or 2 maps like that in each games map rooster would not hurt.

Please Review 'Provence' For Battlefield 5. When Playing On Breakthrough It's Nearly Impossible For The Attacking Team To Capture The First Objective Due To The Open Field With Nearly No Cover.

Your description for the struggle of playing this on this map, especially for the US team, gives me Operation Metro vibes. This map pretty much plays like Metro. The real big differences are the map size and vehicles.
