Well, I would expect a 2 hr. Uber costs significantly more (depending on the location) than the price of one night in a hotel room, so I would go with the hotel room. You also don't have to deal with the stress of scheduling an Uber and hoping it will come on time the morning of the exam, which is also an important consideration.
Yes, I've definitely heard of that! As far as I know, it's allowed as well (although I would make sure with AAMC, of course). Specifically, a lot of people write out all the equations they can remember or at least one or two things they definitely don't want to forget. I personally didn't use this technique since I figured if I could remember an equation or a bit of information at the beginning of the exam, I'd probably also remember it later on. I also just wanted to start and not prolong it any further, haha. If it works for you, go for it!
The latter! You can’t bring anything into the testing room. Your water bottle and other items will be in a locker that you can unlock between sections.
My testing site is a two hours car ride (and I don't have a ride) so do you recommend I just book a hotel room close by or get an uber instead?

I heard that some ppl brain dump during the tutorial time on the whiteboard thing? Is that common or a case by case?

Can you put the water bottle beside you during the test or do you have to leave the room to get a drink of water and then rescan each time?
