- Thursday afternoon drive in scenic North London in the Camden Borough through the towns of Camden Town, Hampstead, Golders Green, and Highgate.
Camden Town, often shortened to Camden, is a district of northwest London, England. The area's industrial economic base has been replaced by service industries such as retail, tourism and entertainment. The area now hosts street markets and music venues that are strongly associated with alternative culture.
Laid out as a residential district from 1791 and originally part of the manor of Kentish Town and the parish of St Pancras, London, Camden Town became an important location during the early development of the railways, which reinforced its position on the London canal network.

He was mostly in the borough of Camden, started off on Camden High Street, then went through areas Belsize Park, Hampsted, Golders Green, Highgate, Archway, Holloway then finished at Highbury and Islington Station, I live here but it was still nice to watch, Thanks Utah

As someone from outside of London (Nottingham), whenever I go to London, always staying in cheap hostels or hotels in cheaper areas, or whenever I see footage of London........it's always obvious straight away how much more money and power there is down there! Your standard streets look clean, well maintained, people are busy, buildings are imposing like they're designed to make people feel like they're somewhere important....it's very noticeable to someone from the midlands haha. Notts looks filthy by comparison. I know North London is generally posh but the difference is still striking. Deptford/Peckham/New Cross is a familiar area to me, a more run down corner of the capital but it looks so cared-for by comparison to some equivalent area in my hometown. Like a clean, smartened-up, much less grotty version of Radford or Hyson Green. I'm sure ppl from other cities have noticed similar things

@@Hard2hit94 Yep I know it's a massive area and there are some grimy bits, but in general yes it is. Yeah I know Tottenham Edmonton etc. Compare it to East or South London. Or to Notts lol. It's mostly posh. Point is, a lot of money gets spent down there on maintaining and developing the capital because lots of people want to live there and pay huge sums to do so. It's a very visible thing, the design of buildings and streetscapes, not just new developments but ALL of it, it all looks much more "important" and like a destination rather than somewhere you're just passing through. Whenever I'm in London in almost any district or neighbourhood I'll walk around a corner and suddenly there's some massive, important-looking building there that you don't know the purpose of but it definitely looks important. Maybe if you're from London you don't notice it. This isn't really a thing anywhere else! I love London btw. It's mental though.
Yeah and our mindset is different whenever I go out of London to Manchester or Birmingham I can stand the people their because they think so shallow! And never think big, London is 8 million people remember that big big city

London is such massive city some parts of it not as spectacular as other parts but London have massively improved since 70s and 80s even 1990s but still lot more transformation will done to city in 10 years or longer
As a Londoner born and raised, that positive change has significantly slowed down since the Brexit vote and since business rates were massively raised in London
@@nograviti2388 I think the Brexit result will have no effect on London it’s too important but the massive business rate hike has already had negative results and now the Corona virus will be the end of many small businesses that were already struggling with higher costs.
London is not massive, it's border looks big (1.5km2 ) but most of it is countryside green space

@@JohnnyZenith a cities borders are arbitrary, each city gets to map their own. so on paper for example, london is bigger than nyc, but only bcuz nyc defines its borders so small, in terms of infrastructure & population density, greater nyc is much bigger than greater london

Đường phố nước Anh đi bên TRÁI tiện lợi hơn là đi bên phải do chân trái là chân trụ, khi lên xe thì chân Trái làm chân chống dễ dàng hơn chân phải. Khi dắt xe thì hầu hết ai cũng đều dắt xe phía bên TRÁI , nếu đường phố đi bên TRÁI thì người dắt xe sẽ ở phía bên trong lề đường gần vỉa hè, an toàn hơn là đường phố đi bên Phải bởi người đó sẽ đi phía ngoài đường ( do dắt xe phía bên trái ) nơi có xe cộ đang lưu thông, rất nguy hiểm.

Can you do Germany or Austria?
As a German I would suggest he takes a look at german law first. AFAIK videos like his would be mostly illegal in Germany unless he gets the approval of every person that can be seen in the video and every car-owner that cars license plate can be seen. The law here, when it comes to personal data protection, is really strict. So, if he doesnt want to get sued he better stay away from doing videos like this in Germany...

While it may be the "law" they seem to not enforce it. After a quick YT search for "driving in Germany" hundreds and hundreds of videos show up. Pick a German city or town and the is a video of driving around or through it. The same with Austria, hundreds and hundreds of videos. So I don't think J has much t worry about if he chose to do it. Do a search and be amazed.

Matías Revello Morales narrow? Infact, european cars are smaller, you get the same 2 lane streets in New York City or bigger main roads that interlink every other part of the city, it’s the same everywhere, but in America each lane is bigger, that’s due to the size of their vehicles
For an American, you sure can navigate London's roads really deftly.

London has many districts. Rich, poor, business, finance, entertainment, shopping and residential. Basically London is made up of, hundreds of former towns and villages that over time combined to become one large city. And each area have (by and large) kept its own unique vibe.
