I will agree to disagree with you here. There is no doubt that Pavarotti had a better voice than Domingo - much more robust, with no passagio, and effortless high notes. But Quando le Sere al Placido is much more difficult to sing than Celeste Aida. Overall, Paravotti made Nessum Dorma 'his.' Celeste Aida 'belongs' to Franco Corelli (in my humble opinion).

Placido has to be figured among the greats but, Pavarotti's Celeste Aida on the same show blows the doors off.
