A nice video to watch and have as background music ^.^ . Nicely ridden. What was the error/red bar you got in your screen? I wonder, what Renthal handlebars are you running?
Thank you dude! It was an immobiliser failure message. It happens from time to time. Cleared itself in the second lap. I’m using Renathal Fat Bar McGrath bend
@@advweekender5709Ah, good it fixes itself ^.^ . I saw your videos pop up multiple times, and always wondered what handlebars you are using. Is the clearance between the handguards and the screen a little acceptable? I tried to find a moment in the video on which you full lock the handlebars, but couldn't find any.
A small note, if you crash and break just the headlight on an 890R? Just the headlight is over 1200.00 US. Labor could be 300.00. These bikes can be totaled in one crash. A friend just high sided his and destroyed his shoulder, 5K damage to bike so far. Hes out for 6 months with major surgery. It aint like crashing a dirtbike.
Let’s hope I never break it dude. I’ve replaced the headlight holder twice and inner fairings 6 times. All been relatively inexpensive luckily. The bike crashes well in my opinion and the tanks are very strong and seem to take most of the force. If I did break the headlight I think I would put an exc mask on and turn it full enduro 😂
My 890 fell over in the driveway hitting the front bottom corner of the skid plate sending all the force to the rubber grommet and cracking the tank $1570 later I got a new one and replaced the skid plate with an outback Motortek
@@advweekender5709Mine has tipped over twice, once was kind of a hard landing involving a cement curb and pavement.....its been lucky so far, honestly if Im thrashing hard in the dirt Im riding something else that doesnt weight 470lbs.
@@user-ktm890riderYikes. A different skidplate will help we hope....mine just lands on the gaurds on the gas tank so far, kind of like a BMW twin on it's cylinder heads....Im not planning on tipping it over much, my DR650 went 51,000 miles with out a crash or tip over.
Just watched your video of the 2023 race. Noticeable improvement over last year! Great ride!
Thank you very much Jeff
Awesome to watch!
Nice work 😎
See you at the next one dude 😉

Luckily there is clearance between the hand guards and display. It’s not a lot, but enough and not had any issues.
Nice riding! 👏 What was the reason for turning off and on the engine at 7:55?
Nice one dude.
Thanks Rich!
how the hell the camera doesn't get dirty ?
I wish that had these kinds of races in the U.S.

Was you using the stock wheels?
I use an aftermarket set of wheels dude. More narrow.
