I literally bought SOTC for my ps5 a couple months ago, and I always enjoyed watching people play the games. The first game I played from this amazing team was TLG, I got it for my birthday, and then just decided to get the OG game that channels were created for, and I enjoy these games so much! I really can’t wait to experience this next chapter of Ueda’s games! It’s just facts that SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS is the greatest game of all time! It did so well that it was remastered for ps3, then later for ps4, and even without a ps5 remaster it is still played, talked about, and enjoyed by all of its fans! I think it would be amazing if they remastered it for the ps5… (SOTC.. most loved game for a game that has very few remasteres for it. All other games that have that much love for what the game is has so many remakes, but SOTC only has 2 remakes and is as loved as much as it is! BEST GAME EVER!) (maybe with a side DLC story, and the removed colossi? In celebration for the new game!) I really can’t wait to experience the new game!

Yeah, see the thing about that is I have lived trapped with myself for decades now and the emotional disappointment just doesn’t cut it anymore. Just like how you don’t cry every time you see me go into your mother’s room.
My brain has been CONSUMED by this since this was shown last night... The most hype game for me, I don't anything will top my hype in the coming years until its release.
The whole mood of this trailer sets me with so much hype. The little bit of music that reminds me of Sotc, the wacky voice counting the seconds, the way the scene is presented to us, it's just a trailer, but for me that's definitely art. And I'm so damn hyped for it 🙏🙏
genDESIGN bring to videogames something no other dev team have managed so well, and that’s a sensitive, melancholic, liminal space in which you are encouraged to just be.
Interesting because intially this trailer appears as if it could Ueda's venture into science fiction ( I.E. Mech colossus); when many ancient civilisations (Babylonia, Mayans etc) actually posessed forms of advanced technology. Much of which was recontextialized into emerging mythologies.
I can't explain why the voice and accent evoke feelings in me I can't properly explain, especially how 'seconds' are pronounced in such a strange way. Overall the art, visuals, atmosphere, music and sound design in Ueda's works connect with me in a way no other games do. Very few games achieve the feet to touch me emotionally.

I was super depressed and nearly ended it all, but that game filled me with pure joy, an emotion that I wasn’t used to feeling. From the music, to the environment, to just observing Trico left me wanting more in that world. I even think about Trico at random times now in my mid-twenties. To say I’m excited for this project to come to fruition is an understatement. Very eager for the future of Project Robot. Thank you Ueda
Shadow of the Colossus is one of my favourite games ever. I will purchase anything from the creators of that masterpiece. Them and Playdead for Inside’s masterpiece.

Watching this Announcement Teaser Trailer for the next Fumito Ueda's 'Project: Robot' at The Game Awards 2024 over eight years since genDESIGN released The Last Guardian makes me wonder if I will ever have a chance to actually play this new game in my lifetime... or not...?!
At the Game Awards I saw "Epic Games Publishing" and thought "WAIT IS THIS UEDA'S NEXT GAME" then I heard the sci-fi narration and thought "No it couldn't be... Nevermind." Then I saw the I-C for ICO and lost my mind again. 😆
Was thinking it was either GenDesign's next game or Playdead's (Limbo/Inside developers). Thank you Fortnite kids and your Vbucks purchases for funding my favorite arthouse indie devs 🙏

Cant wait to be emotionally murdered again by the sheer beauty. As for my predictions and theories, id say this seems to be a mix of technology and perhaps magic similar to what weve seen of the Ico universe in the past. My hope is that it expands upon the already beautiful world of SotC/Ico/TLG but it doent have to. Im excited for the newest game that GenDesign can put out for us. I hope that they know that we fans dont mind a long wait in exchange for a great game.
That was the biggest surprise at the Game Awards. I had palpitations and tears in my eyes. Thank You!!! I hope it will be developed with the Unreal Engine and it will be released on PC. Then I can play it in VR with the UEVR mod. That would be the greatest thing for me.
The problem with making such good games (as GenDesgin/Team Ico) is that there will always be huge pressure to make yet another masterpiece, but I believe they will.
Dear, Godly genDesign developers how about making this game available for PC too, along with Shadow of the Colossus? A lot of players only have PCs and would love to get a chance to play these awesome titles.

I heard it will be an open world. Ueda, i hope you will think for the real fans, and not change things too much : if you make an online mode, player vs player for example, and make it a game like all the shooters. It is an "Epic games" exclusive. So yes that's definitely going to be on PC and exclusive to the Epic game store.
