They are amazing, so glad I got some! I had no idea they sold or so fast, glad I ordered when I did! Just used one on a few knives, including my Anthem. I was able to get the swab behind the tang of the blade into the titanium near the pivot, which I would've never been able to do in that past. Picked up so much lint, they're so awesome! 😃
Just used the new swabs that I ordered from you guys, & thanks for including 14 in the package! They work GREAT! Such a huge help! Cotton swabs are just too big to fit into the nooks and crannies of my knives. The KPL swabs are so much better at reaching tighter spaces, & are gentler on the materials while picking up more dirt & lint. Today I cleaned my first swab with just some hand soap, rolling it in my fingers. Then I gently dried out with a paper towel, & after drying it looks good as new. I also use both KPL & KPL Heavy, & have multiple bottles of each. I've purchased all my KPL products directly from you & your service has always been top notch. You guys really have great products, I can't imagine the action on any of my knives now without KPL on the pivot & KPL Heavy on the detent track when applicable. I'm a fan for life. This sounds like a testimonial, & I guess it is! Anyway, thanks & keep up the great work! 😃
Are these products (kit) going to be available also on Amazon Canada or just in the USA. Thanks for the info and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
I just ordered a 50 Pack of the swabs. Great tool for knife maintenance. Question about the thread locker. How strong is it? Would it be easy to use too much and make it hard get the screw back out?
I'm sure it's going to be very similar to standard blue thread locker which it isn't super strong. It's enough to keep the screw from backing itself out from vibration or the movement of the pivot but not strong enough that it would cause the screw to stick. Just make sure you have high quality bits, that's going to be much more likely to give you a headache and strip the screws. You need very little thread locker, just a tiny Dot on the first couple threads is enough because as you screw it in it will get pushed kind of around the screw. Because you're only filling in the little tiny gaps between the threads, a little goes a long way. Hope that helps!
@@jolness1 Correct! The threadlocker is medium strength meaning its very much removable. We went with one of the premium brands (Vibratite) for this kit!
@@knifepivotlube412 Vibratite is great quality and I love the size of this. I didn't realize they made one like this. Is it a needle applicator? I bought small dull needle syringes to fill with loctite for my knives.
Oh my those swabs work so well!! Great kit for knife users!!
