wanted to make mango sticky rice and I thought, whose recipe should I use as the internet is full of americanized versions of mango sticky rice... and I knew to come here for the most authentic recipe! and wow another beautiful well made video. I like how you use a thin cheesecloth too so rice doesnt stick to basket. Have the worse time washing out the basket when i cook sticky rice this way. thanks for a great video.!
Aw thank you for thinking of me 😊 yes the cheesecloth has been really helpful. I like to make it damp first before adding the sticky rice in. It saves a lot of time with the clean up 😁 I hope you enjoy it!
Sign of Spring (and Summer) to come, : )) I totally enjoyed it. After a looong winter, its the perfect video,-- the freshness of the mango fruit in the light dish. Beautiful work, as always, ; )
Thank you for trying it. For the mung beans, rinse well. Cover with water and let it slowly come to a boil on medium heat. When the water comes to boil, shut off the heat, cover it and let it sit for 10 min. Pour out the water and rinse well to remove starch. Dry it off. In light oil, toast them gently on medium high heat until golden brown. You can also use roasted sesame seeds which are just as tasty.
What is your all-time favorite dessert?
What a beautiful presentation.
Thank you so much🙏
Such a beautiful dish, I might not want to eat it because the presentation is so beautiful, lol! Coconut and mango pair great together.
