Way to go! I have four dogs and I did the same thing. My vet told me it was bad for their teeth. I don't do it so often, but when I do I bake the chicken. I give my dogs salmon, I never thought about tuna. Thanks for that. I will.
That's how we fed our AmStaff puppies before they were 12 weeks old! Totally fresh, brown rice, boiled chicken breast, veggies, no salt. They couldn't get enough! We had to mix puppy formula at around 6-8 weeks with the fresh food. You're a great mom to your babies!🥰
That's what I use to make for my beautiful Rottweiler DMX every Sunday. I would make rice, but I would bake or boil the chicken thighs because they're more flavorful with a lil salmon sometimes and the frozen peas & carrots. And let's not talk about what he would get if it was Thanksgiving or Christmas! I would have to mix it with dry dog food though, because by him being such a big dog (135 lb) he would go through all six of those bowls if I didn't balance it out with something else. I miss my fur baby so much. I love how she loves her dogs. Go Brat!
Hey brat, I kinda of make the same thing but use chicken breast and make a big pot to feed three doggies every two weeks. However try brown rice it’s better for them than white rice.

The company has her name on the product to make money. Anything made in mass quantities and left on the shelves for God know how long that has added preservatives isn't good for humans nor dogs. Before I educated myself about the dog food industry I tried to feed my dogs her food, they wouldn't eat it. It's just branding, a market strategy to make 💰🤑. I just recently started making my dogs food. He has a very sensitive stomach so I started with farmers dog pet food subscription and they kept changing their recipes and he got sick. This is my first week of cooking his food and so far so good. I mix his prescription food and antibiotics with it and he has been eating way more than before. It definitely made me feel better seeing him eat all of his more consistently and also see you do the same for your babies.
Try feeding him organs meat. My dogs love the beef hearts. I saute them and leave a little red in it. I then put it in my food processor and slice it up. Omg my fur babies go crazy 🤪 they love it with brown rice peas carrots kale. I also add a supplement to keep their joints healthy.
When I feed the dogs, I repeat their names as I lower the bowls so they know who up next and no confusion. I love how u do for the dogs. Makes me hungry... Lol

May be an extra step but it's safer to rinse the meat first. Want flavor I always boil meat chicken, turkey; no seasoning. Set aside the broth. Let it cool then put in ice trays. Dog bone silicone ice trays are cute. Shred and save the meat and Freeze also. That way I have unsalted broth and meats in the freezer at my reach. Broth Takes literally seconds to thaw.
You do it right. Lol keep that energy. All that sodium, food cooked to death with zero nutrients and no vitamins or minerals added is not a good idea for long term health

Omg you just showed me a cheaper faster way to make my pomchi her food. I would usually get everything fresh then put it in the crockpot.
