It seems TKO and WWE are planning to turn the four major PLE’s into two night events. Royal rumble, mania, summerslam & War games. They’re the most lucrative PLE’s so it makes sense for them to capitalise on them as much as possible.
Thank goodness for that. Because the issue with previous PPVs, was some matches that could've been made on shows like Main Event or Superstars was placed in high profile PPV, remember how God awful wrestlemania 27 was ? And how it's only saving Grace was Undertaker vs Triple H ? That's because most other matches weren't Wrestlemania worthy, The Corre vs Big show, Kane and Santino ? Snuky, Trish and John Morrison vs Dolph ziggler, Beth and someone else ? MICHAEL COLE VS JERRY LAWLER !?!. YEAH NO THANKS. That is why I'm glad they split the Shows to two nights.
Being big enough to not need gold isn’t new. Undertaker was in that slot for close to 30 years. Michaels. Hart. SCSA. Rock. Orton. Becky Lynch. Ric and Charlotte Flair. KO. I could go on and on and on. That’s the nature of the business… Build the guy to be in the main event picture, then make it so he doesn’t need gold to be engaging. That’s how you build a successful, all-top-of-the-card program.
Though I will say that making the guy not need gold without a run with the title is somewhat unusual… but if the booking wants long title reigns to put prestige back on the titles, you have to find a way to build people without belts… and THAT is a bit newer, and may be what you’re looking at with Gable - “How do we make this a top guy without giving him a belt?”
This channel never ceases to amaze me, calling Chad Gable a megastar even without gold, then saying WWE is mishandling LA Knight, a true megastar, at every turn. Dude has the Slim Jim ad money and is on every PPV with top talent.
Yeah I mean, jobbing is a token wrestler who loses all the time to improve others image But one loss in a qualifying match, especially in a 3 person one, isn't that big of a deal haha
Well you know how most wrestling fans are. They think a loss their favorite wrestler takes is automatically a burial or jobbing. Like at Clash At The Castle, people were saying Drew got buried. And yet, here he is still one of the top stars and is now going into MITB.

The match graphic for The Bloodline at MITB shows the four members at roughly the same size, making it look like a 4-on-3 Handicap match visually, which isn't the case. They usually scale down the managers'/seconds' picture, and place them behind their wrestler/team; it is possible they don't even know about Jacob's status, which is a severely bad sign this early into his WWE career; this match is mainly about him and what he's capable of in his (should be) WWE in-ring debut...
There is no need for surprises especially for the men's Royal Rumble, wrestlers enter to win not to be a surprise entrant and lose and make a fool out of themselves

If PLE cut down on the extra long hype videos and the loooong entrances, you could easily add another 3-4 matches in one night. You don’t need two nights. Two nights you’re guaranteed to have more commercials and videos to kill time, and more mid matches that won’t interest fans. Just my opinion 👍

I personally don’t think every PLE needs to be two nights. I enjoy Mania being two nights, and summerslam makes sense too. I think they’re the only ones that would benefit from that though. I’d leave the others as singular night events.
what they need is a survivor series 2 nights, a traditional brand vs brand suvivor series and ofcourse the wargames for both men & womens in my opinion would be better
Rumble should be a two-nighter, certainly before SummerSlam. Having a second night for the Rumble would mean each night could be capped by a Rumble and give each night a better card than just trying to slam both into the same evening.

Raw was nuts! Bron is on fire. I love everything with the Wyatt 6. Drew is unstoppable. Dom is always entertaining. Priest is also really good.
