Perfect Practical Family Car. ~4yrs Already! Dec 2017 model! 50,000 Kms & so far spent less than Rs.40K on servicing! 😀 Mileage - 17.5Km city, 19.3Km Highway! 👍 Controlled and secured driving 👍 experience! Happier highway drives! Airy interior with all basic amenities! Seating positions and comfort bring smiles on elderly faces. 🙏 Easy to get in and out. (Most neglected in other cars). Kids don't feel stuck due to spacious back seat area and big windows!😃 Rest technical points don't need to be discussed for a practical family car! And finally, I am 110% sure that even in 2025 with 1lakh kms of running, I will easily get a better resale value for this! 😉 Drive safe! -By A happy Scross owner.
Most accurate review so far. I own S Cross 2019. This car runs like train & you feel you are in AC coach on highways. Car is built from rock solid & heavy steel no never see in other Maruti Suzuki car ever. I went in my town & it was eye catching for everyone their. I got 19kmph mileage with 2 person & heavy loaded luggage with speed 100-120 kmph on 400 km run.
Accurately mentioned all the pros and cons. My observations (cons) are: 1.Turning radius is surprisingly disappointing. 2. Penal gaps are massive. 3. Inconsistent fit and finish even on the outside. 4. A little bit of boot depth would've worked wonders in increasing the boot size which is already properly shaped. 5. Although ground clearance is more than adequate, a better approach angle would've made it a more capable off-roader than it is now. 6. Rear AC vent is a big miss because it is a big car. 7. AC unit already producing bad smell, especially at higher temperatures. 8. A segment lower cars get TPMS, traction control, ESP and 4 or even more airbags. Being a flagship product maruti should provide S-Cross with 4 air bags at least at the top alpha trim. 9. One thing you are still unaware of is the Squeezing seat sound which is the most annoying feature in this car. Refer team BHP page where many other owners reported the same issue. 10. No doubt the lights on the alpha trim is amazing, an addition of cornering lamps would've been great. Even cheaper Hyundai cars get it. 11. Arm rest for the rear is set bit too low for my taste. I'm over 18k kms with this car now and apart from that annoying seat squeezing sound feature, everything else is awesome. Anything beyond above mentioned cons will be too much to ask at this price point. A proud owner 😊

@@sri198507 6L for zeta is bit overpriced imo. Had it been Alpha I would've said go for it. But I would suggest you to have a test ride before finalizing the deal. The driving dynamics is excellent. The low end is not as bad as you are expecting but there is a small lag when turbo starts spooning which can be managed if you are skilled enough. You can also get the ECU retuned by wolfs moto and other tuners for about 25k which eliminates the turbo lag completely enhancing your drive experience. It is a VFM car with a good balance of mileage and power in todays world where you either get mileage or power, but not both.
I recently own a Scross Zeta, Best decision I have made. Has good road presence, Has class, Strong body build. I had a choice between Nexon, Ecosport, Honda Wrv, Brezza but went for the best- Scross provides Cruise control, Smart hybrid, Amazing (leg room, Boot space), Mileage up to 17 in the city traffic. No other car provides this for prices under 13 lakh. At this price points I feel one can buy Scross or Ecosport!
I am getting 24kmpl with cruise control on 80kmph. Cruise at 70, i am getting 30. Generally I go at 110kmph at cruise control and I get 17.5kmpl. Drive at 100kmph I get 19.5kmpl on cruise. Readings are when you travel with 3 adults and full luggage loaded. It climbs the hills with sufficient ease(surprisingly), it surprises you on sudden patches of bad roads on Highways with its suspension (you will never feel a thud inside unless it is really bad dent). Suspension especially in front seats is exceptional but on the rear seat you may feel little bit of the thud on the bad roads. Rear seat leg room and shoulder room space is upto the mark. You can see your car (s cross) overtakes other premium sedans and hatch backs on really bad roads. Driveability on real bad roads is way better when compared to other cars. You will never feel it is under powered if you hit the cruise button at the speed of 60kmph. It easily competes(not outperform) with creta(on non cruise mode) when the s cross is on cruise mode. Music system is upto the mark. Very good bass and crystal clear highs and lows. Clutch is little bit heavy so you may not enjoy the city driving with this car only when compared to other manual petrol cars. You cannot find a parking slot for this bigger car in the cities I assume. But with this price range, s cross is THE BEST car for a highway rider because of its excellent suspension, leg room and shoulder room, mileage, excellent stability on good roads, driveability on bad roads, fairly heavy body, good music system. If your main purpose is to commute in the metropolitan cities, then avoid this car(bumper to bumper traffic only) only because of its slightly heavier cluth and it's need for frequent gear shifting.

Best Practical family car. The best Ingress-Egress among all the available so called SUV in our country. A bit expensive, it should have been just 50K higher than Breeza in all variant. On road price of Zeta for 10.60 lacs & Alpha for 11.50 lacs maximum.
Nexon vs s-cross?
@@shubham_M7777 it Scross & not Nexon. Nexon the door height is less & hence Ingress-Egress is a problem. Plus because higher ground clearance it difficult for senior members to climb up & get down with ease. Kindly for practical reason would like you to try both & experience & judge for yourself.
Kya s-cross alpha mai dual chamber headlamps milta hai jo baki lower variants mai milta hai??
that is actually call a review !! Bestest review video i ever watched till date with Indian Automobile channel !!
Very very nice and most comprehensive scross review I have seen great it will be of great help if somebody wants to buy scross, maruti should give a autobox it will make more attractive proposition and new buyers can come into the spectrum

planning to buy s cross but worried about ground Clarence & height is tooo short & backside rare look is not so impressive & more over rare AC wind is a big qus.. so what do you suggest.
How is NVH of the car particularly on highways
Brilliant as always and specially the initial background score was ummm 👌
You are a honest reviewer which is your biggest attribute and "Moving on to प्रश्न संख्या 3", was exclusively spectacular.
By your advice itself, I bought my first car last month and I am pretty happy with my decision which was for sure, endorsed by your advice. Thank you very much and i just love your passion about cars.

Hi sir, what is the weight of this car?
Should I buy Scross now with the mouth watering discounts or should I go for Brezza? Really confused in this two. Looking for approx 10L car with exchange.. is there any other i can consider? Milage is also a priority.
Probably your beat ever review......i really like the way you put as question 1, 2 ....
Waiting for automatic version..
Excellent Review Sir. I own a S-cross and this is by far the most accurate review of this car I have seen on RUclips, including all the pros and cons.
What you want to say
@ICN Studio, PLEASE suggest me, Verna Sx Ivt or S Cross Automatic, MY daily commute is 30 kms to n fro, weekend around 100 km, Verna Sx ivt has wireless charger and sunroof, Scross has more ground clearance, please give your suggestions, I am confused.

Your every video is awesome
Very informative, like it, planig between Scross, breeza n nexon.
Hi Guru. Nice description given by you. Brezza V/S scross comparision
I have scross diesel
It's good for the price as i got a 2nd hand car
But really not recommended to buy a new scross
Instead go for sub 4 metre suv than this.
The ride is very stiff,
Steering in sort of heavy ,
Mileage is just fine(not amazing),
AC doesn't work efficiently.
And yeah one more thing this is the exact copy of BMW X1, as if maruti has no car designers world wide.
At what price you got it, model year, and kms when u purchased? Actually I am also getting a old Scross diesel, so want a reference.
