  • This is my performance from the January 2010 Versatile Arts "Saints and Sinners" show. It is to Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah". All the video processing and editing was done by the wonderful Paul Hawxhurst. See more of his work here: vimeo.com/user1...

      She has a lot of skill, its just not the best choreography and it doesn't flow. It doesn't really go with the music.

    I was actually moved to tears with this performance. I've never seen a performance where the performer was so in touch with not only the music but the silk itself.
    Thanks so much for sharing this work of art.

    That was way cool. I've never really seen a routine that followed the flow of the music as well as you did. You would hit a pose at the peak of the phrase every time. Wonderful

    We call it the "fancy russian" climb. It's essentially a russian climb but with the tail over your thigh rather than over your foot.

    I'm not sure I understand your question. We call it Circus Aerials or possibly Aerial Dance. More specifically, it is called Aerial Tissu, Aerial Fabric, or Aerial Silk.

  • @cheniser
    @cheniser 12 лет назад +1

    It's not actually silk, it's aerial fabric. You can buy it online searching for aerial silks fabric. There's different levels of stretch though.
