I watched them a few years back up in Tulsa, Oklahoma (2007 I think) when they played the University of Tulsa (Hurricanes) only to lose 37 - 30. The few fans that were there in attendance started chanting "We Are Marshall", and it gave me chills hearing it. I had seen the documentary on the crash but had not yet watched the movie which had just came out a few weeks prior. I had only seen the promo's for the movie at this point.That's an experience I won't soon forget.

I was 14 when the Marshall plane crashed, and I remember that night like it was yesterday. It was cold, rainy, and gloomy that day, and when the news of the crash scrolled across the bottom of the TV everyone was in shock. How could this happen? This happens everywhere else, not in Huntington, WV. It took a long time for Marshall to overcome that tragedy, but I am honored that I have gotten to see it happen.
