- Surviving dangerous rocks in the South Park Trail area at Johnson Valley, CA.
We set out with some of the best drivers, Rigs and locals to tackle a low key local hot spot. I found out real quick That the rocks in this area fight back almost getting hit with a 42" sized boulder and knocking down boulders almost the size of our rock crawlers. This area is full of new trail and line opportunity that seem to be almost endless with waterfalls, cracks and chalk full of technical off-roading. This area has trails for medium 4x4's all the way up to rear steer rock buggies. There was no way were were going to make it out without a car rolling or flopping and we knew it.

Have you guys done a video on the different configurations of these crawlers. I see Portals, Toyota and 9” 3rd’s, different wheel bases and widths.
I want to build one, but I mostly run 4 day camping trips, Rubicon, Fordyce etc. so these arn’t really useful for those trips. My buggy is more overlander than a point and shoot rig 😂

When ever Kolbee is interested. Currently she wants a Cherokee with one tons and a roof top tent. Something we can build and she can daily as her first vehicle but adventure and do some medium rock crawling in.

Chassis was solid. a couple dents in the hood and roof panels and lost a light bar bracket. other then that it was good to go. I was also shocked at the minimal damage it took. it legit bounced after it hit.
