This is a beautiful love song and Mori feels it and conveys the same emotion to her audience. This song is originally sung by American country singer Deana Carter, with a cover done by a boy group Youth Asylum more than 20 years ago but it was made popular in the Philippines by Christian Bautista (I really thought it was his original) in the early 2000's. As a tribute to his 20th year in the industry, a remake was made and Morissette was the one chosen by Universal Records Phils. to interpret it. You might want to listen to the original and previous covers of it, and see for yourself how Mori's version seems to be the best. At least for me I prefer her rendition, the way she clearly pronounces the words and the way she elongates some notes, plus her beautiful tone and naturally sounding vibrato which is pleasing to listen to. 🥰
Mori has sung with Christian Bautista many times, and she sang at his wedding four years ago, of course this is a cover of one of his songs, Mori has sung this song many times, but the new videos from this music session are superb and I love them all, IMAGINE MORE, COLOUR EVERYWHERE and WATERWALK absolutely beautiful, the fourth song in Tagalog I just cannot pronunce sorry but then again beautiful, she is just the best, her love of singing you see in her beautiful smile.😊
