I feel you alice..Im 45 years old now and my grandma or lola inay we called her just passed away last may 8 she was 89 yrs old...i still felt the pain cos i took care of her for 2 years in our province..last 2016 to 2018. I still cry everytime i remember her.

The other day while I was going through some of my great grandmother old letters, I came across a letter from her Aunt Mary Dixson that contained an amazing obituary. I originally couldn't find him in my family tree but after a little of research I was able to work it out. I sent the obituary to another cousin who let me know that the obituary for Ralph C Dixson I found was your grandfather. He sounds like he was an amazing war hero and a guerrilla band leader against the Japanese forces.
I like the tour and the trolley ride, it makes that part of portland one big carnival ride, thanks for sharing, i got some tours that might excite you thanks
