The price with the features of this watch blows me away. I would want one, just because of that. Too bad the only thing stopping me from getting this is, a real dial and meter analog watch.
I have one for about 2 months now and I m pretty happy with it. No lagging, no issues at all. Battery lasts for about 5 days. The price was more than affordable. I would recommend this watch if you are not willing to pay too much on a smart watch. PS- you went in Romania. The GPS showed 2 the name of the capital city, Bucuresti one time and one time Bucharest 😀..

Între timp i am descoperit cum sa il fac sa se activeze numai cînd il ridic la nivelul ochilor, dar nu este la fel de rapid ca huawei gt al fiului meu chiar cu senzitivitatea reglată la maxim. Il programez ca sa nu se activeze în timpul somnului, îi blochez ecranul din funcția lock pe timpul zilei, i am setat perioada de activare a ecranului la 6 secunde, si imi tine bateria 3 saptamani spre o lună. Una peste alta sunt mulțumit de el, mai ales că e primul smart watch, eu fiind adeptul ceasului mecanic automatic (am 3 ceasuri rusești, 2 Seiko, un Atlantic si un Omega Seamaster).

I've had the T-Rex for several months now. I don't use GPS, don't have it set for always on display, and notifications for only calendar and weather. Without notifications I got 50 - 60 days before needing to charge the battery. With notifications for several apps including email and texts I got about 30 days. The watch is rather thick and I hit on the wall or door once in a while but I see no signs of damage. During the summer I was in the pool everyday with the watch on my wrist. It appears to be quite water resistant. One "issue" I have had is the watch display will get "stuck" on without me noticing it. That can really drain the battery. I don't know if I have accidentally pressed a button or combination of buttons but holding the "Select" button for a few seconds seems to take it back to normal. This is my second Amazfit watch. I still have the Bip and it too is a nice watch and maybe half as thick as the T-rex. But, overall, I really like the T-Rex. I bought it from a Cheapskate deal and got $20 off.
Hey I took your advice and I bought two T-Rexes one black and the one camouflage and I'll tell you what you're not kidding it truly has a gorilla screen I tested it and it doesn't scratch it's rock solid thank you for turning me on to the T-Rex by amazfit
I bought the T Rex. The problem is that it won't hold a connection to my phone, even though my phone is a Xiaomi. I bought a cheap Blackview X5 and I couldn't be happier. I paid 20 dollars for the watch. When I got it it wouldn't charge, so I got in touch with Blackview. They sent me a new watch and I didn't have to return the old one. When I got the new phone I realized the the problem with the old watch was the charging cord. Now I have two watches for twenty dollars. They don't have all the bells and whistle of the Rex, but for everyday use they are great. The charge lasts 5 to 6 days, it monitor my steps, sleep and heart rate - all the things I need. The sleep monitor isn't always accurate, but its close enough. Great buy!

I'm still deciding between Garmin Instinct and Amazfit T-Rex. I have been using Amazfit Stratos for 2 years now and I'm very pleased with the watch. Which one would you choose? I mostly want it to track my runs and exercise.
Omg this is an awesome watch. My watch gives me a battery life of 53 days without getting connected to watch and with connected it lifed for almost 28 days and I use the GPS, always on display, workout half an hour daily. It's really cool smart watch

Great review, to the point and the camera-work was really well done. Was honestly surprised at all the things the watch offers at such an affordable price.
I've had the watch for a month now. Very satisfied with it. Works well for my needs. Battery life is good. I did buy a screen protector from alien surface, just to make sure. Only thing I noticed is that it's heart rate sensor doesn't work well when you are sweating like at the gym. All in all a good budget watch and very happy with my purchase.

Can you please advise if T Rex tracks non-activity calories as well? For example if I sit all day (burning 1 calorie per minute), will it show me about 2200 calories burned in a day, or will it show me zero calories because of zero steps?

Hi Nice Review! May I ask a couple of questions please? I am an iPhone user; do I get all the features that your video showed, or do I lose anything. Any major drawbacks, accuracy etc. Is the alarm loud enough to wake me up? At 81 years of age I will not be using most of the features. Just like to play with it and change watch faces. Many thanks
V0.0.1.42 - Nothing major since I started testing back in January. Last update brought a better font for notification, it’s condensed and it fix more characters on the screen. Sleep tracking is a little bit better, it can sense you if you are awake and walking though home in the night. iOS app is a little bit refined, but still it doesn’t have a unified color theme. The battery life is the same as it was in January and that the greatest news I can give you.

I never could wear a square watch before smart watches, they were too 'accountants' for me. So, no, I'll never wear an apple watch. They look like a small phone on your wrist. Silly. I currently own a fossil gen 5. Very happy
The t-Rex is my first smart watch. My gf bought an Apple Watch at the same time (not to be outdone). And I’ll admit, the apple looks nice. However, it’s runs out of power for her quickly. She HAS to charge it once or twice a day for what she does. She’s a social butterfly. I’m more of a practical kinda guy. So the battery life and ruggedness is what attracted me. I’m not dissatisfied or disappointed in the t-Rex. One improvement I’d make though is the latch and strap. I thought that those should be stronger. I’m slightly above average strength for a guy and I can feel that if I’m not careful that I can break those. I would have preferred something more rugged that I don’t have to worry about in that area as well. Otherwise great

one thing they forgot to add before you it became "watch for the Apocalyps " . the solar charging ,not unlike the Casio GBD H 1000 , but still cant have anything in one smart watch.

Apple watch is horribly over hyped unless for those who are addicted in the apple eco-system. For them, it's really great . For others, Amazefit, Samsung, Huawei and other watches hold much more sense.
There is some poor English localization and a couple minor software quirks within the app and the watch. But otherwise I've never been happier with a smartwatch. Random bluetooth disconnection and short battery life have plagued other watches I've owned. I removed Zepp app from the battery saver mode on my phone so it won't close if running in the background, and it has not once disconnected on me unless I've been outside of range of my phone. And the battery life lasts longer than any other smartwatch I've owned. Plus, it's got amazing hardware. A compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, AMOLED display, are all things I'm not surprised to see on a $140 watch individually, but I'm amazed to see together. The long battery life and lack of bluetooth disconnections make this watch frustration-free, and a $140 watch that can survive anything is much more likely to stay on my wrist than a $300+ watch that I'm scared to break. And a wearable is only as good as your will to wear it. Plus, I like the high level of customization. Being able to choose which apps offer notifications means I only see things that are relevant, and the Do Not Disturb mode can be set to a timer, or to work while sleeping, so it doesn't wake me up and I don't need to enable DnD manually every night. Quirks aside, I've been happier with this than any wearable I've owned, even Wear OS watches that are more "full featured."

I owned both huawei GT and GT 2 the downside this watch only 2 watch face can install one at a time and sometimes the notification is not accurate but still bought because of the design and battery life. Won't regret buying it.
Hello on the zepp app there is a section called my records where it records your best times for 3k, 5k ect. My current watch GTS doesn't support personal records. Does the T-Rex have this feature?

All of those no matter the brand, even the most expensive they are not accurate if you are sweating. I have not made a test under water.

I'm really considering to buy this smartwatch, but no music storage? WTF?! Absoulute deal breaker for me!
I owned both huawei GT and GT 2 the downside this watch only 2 watch face can install one at a time and sometimes the notification is not accurate but still bought because of the design and battery life. Won't regret buying it.

Hello on the zepp app there is a section called my records where it records your best times for 3k, 5k ect. My current watch GTS doesn't support personal records. Does the T-Rex have this feature?

You can’t pay using the T-Rex. Maybe Huami should read comments like this and implement them in the next model.
