A few things: - setting up atmosphere - make places scrub contaminants more effectively - testing new gas mixes on the SM and causing massive delamination - doing stupid gas ideas
I was Peyton! Remember, always screw down your windows! Also, I said run because the hydrogen ignited. At least, I think that was the reason. so yeah, double check the windows after screwing them down to prevent workplace accidents
Man, your videos are amazing. You literally started 2 weeks ago with 4 videos and alredy have ~1.8k views, with is all the conected players in all the servers of SS13 normally. Truely amazing. Greetings from Argentina! (keep doing this please, its my drug)
Atmos works on gestalt field physics once you understand this you will learn why something that's worked 100 times before suddenly fails, its because the other guy questioned your work.

well i only did metal hydrogen in the prevois version where the fusion was plasma hydrogen and tritium and we had no crystalizer so i needed 1e6 of both pressure and temperature to make metal hydrogen. a little tip for getting very hot temperatures, make hot ice from cooled freon and oxygen and bust an entire pack with 50 hot ice sheets with your welder, the temperature easily goes 100k kelvin.
This honestly surpasses a lot of my understanding. I can't even consistently get the results from burning plasma in my private server's turbine room to copy over to the tgstation server. But I will return to atmospherics again. One day.
I play atmos tech in ss14 and I'm happy to learn that, even with barely anything to do, we still manage to mess up in the same ways the ss13 atmos techs do
Don’t worry, you’ll get to metal hydrogen eventually- it’s shockingly easy, you can do a tritium burn inside of the mix loop because the crystallizer only absorbs the gasses that you need for the selected recipe.
Wait I remember that round! Me and a few scientists turned lizards into dragons with fire breath gene and wing potions. Also rd was a antag or a self made a tag and made murder nanites that made the tide of people kill my science buds. I later killed rd and the rd got bowinked.
I was the one that made the wing potions and got murdered by RD for trying to put blood purification into my private nanite cloud so my irradiation (from self rerolling for firebreath) wouldnt kill me. The rd just didnt want anyone to touch the nanite lab and probably wanted a reason to play with their hulk.
My uncle also used to cook something that started with H in our basement too. Dont think it was hidrogen tho, at least i dont think the police would arrest him for making hydrogen
ALWAYS do an extra check on the windows for burn chambers. Also lights are typicaly, wrench > wires > screwdriver > bulb. Also all this would have been easier if Filters still had an unlimited pressure output. Fuckers had a higher throughput to their side than a volume pump 5 years ago. Want to filter off plasma from a supermatter with a TEG rigged to it for a burn chamber? A filter would do you perfectly for pulling that plasma. Hell you could fill a canister well into the 100,000 kpa range in the course of a shift if you had the SM set right for plasma production.
Well, to solidify hydrogen needs to be under high pressure and in low temperature. High temperatures increase the pressure but not enough to solidify a liquid or a gas, so heating it won't do anything. To solidify hydrogen you need to freeze it and put a lot of it in a very small space . Incredibly hot hydrogen (~70000 degrees Celsius as far as i remember) can be used in thermonuclear synthesis or fusion, fusion is in the game but it is a bit oversimplified.
If you want to create a good burn chamber you wanna have doublesided reinforced plasma glass with a space tile between them for insulation, so you dont waste your precious delta H toasting the air you're supposed to be breathing.
Solomon is a bad captain, killed me for taking his hat, anyways atmos looks so fucking complicated, us in science just stick syringes and canisters into stuff to make explosions
I really like ss13, and found your channel easily from how little the game is made into video because of it using multiple windows and alot of spit screen fuckery, but you make good content over all and keep up the plasma floods from incompetent help and antags
@@bluefire7650 wizard is a rare antag, which only one person gets. most people have only been wizard 3-6 times a year at absolute most. so you may be waiting a while
for making h2, make sure you suck out all the air first so it doesnt light on fire, then the shit you suck out should just stay at room temp/cooler so you dont even need t2 cans (if you cool the h2o first)
Wiki is possibly outdated, but I'd have to look at a crystallizer in game to double check. I don't record in-game menus but they will tell you what the requirements are.
I've always wondered what atmos techs do. I now know even less than when I started
We set up atmosphere and start putting whole engineering in great danger

6:57 for that light you need to put cable in the light frame then screwdriver it to create a new light frame to slide a light into.

I was the mime that round. Tram got ruined so they used mass drivers to fling people instead. Fun placing statues at the end of those as the mime.
you kinda remind me of boat bomber
anyways, great video, keep up the good work
