Was there anything under the escalator? That and the entrance seems like a big waste of space...
Avarosa the underwater boardroom is under the escalator, see the press images available from The Straits Times. I presume the entrance space is for product storage and also the underwater tunnel itself.
Meh, I thought they would have transparent glass for underwater like in some aquariums...
Before going there, do I have to make a reservations online or can straight away go there?
Awyong Leong Soo walk-ins are now accepted, but expect to queue. Reservations were necessary only for opening day.
What did you buy? Did you meet Tim Cook?
Engorgio Armani I were asked at check-in if I did want to purchase anything, because the staff would have to prepare it. The experience was focused more on the tour, with most participants opting not to purchase anything.
From my understanding, due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions in Singapore, Tim Cook was not present. Unfortunately, unlike other countries, test-on-arrival and/or shortened quarantine options are available only for business travellers from 5 countries, which does not include the USA.

Engorgio Armani for NZ and Brunei, yes, the arrangement is unilateral. For the remaining countries on the list, it is a bilateral, reciprocal green lane agreement for business travel both ways.
