This was new to me and made me feel like I had traveled back in time almost 20 years to the peak of my pop punk listening days and gave me all of those high energy good feels, but still felt fresh too somehow. Thanks for the reaction and introducing me to another damn good song and band.
This is one of the best reaction/reviews I’ve ever heard. You did a great job explaining your thoughts and highlighted the parts of the song and what they contributed. Well done
Very cool sound! Love to see you react to Triddana, I recommend not looking anything up about them first, and going in blind - "When the Enemy's Close" is the best intro to them IMO. They're super unknown but way too good to have such a low profile
Yoi! Stand Atlantic is one of my favourite bands. I love Bonnie's voice. Thanks for reacting to these guys. It probably won't be a first reaction for you, but if you wanted to do another Stand Atlantic analysis, I'd love to see what you thought of 'Lavender Bones' and / or 'Hate Me'. Obviously, you like 'Hate Me', because you recommended it, but I've loved 'Lavender Bones' from the moment I first heard it, and still do. Very poignant to me, because I'm batshit crazy. Now, the compulsory request for Wagakki Band - Japanese folk-metal/pop/jazz/rock/everything, combining traditional Japanese folk instruments (shamisen, koto, shakuhachi flute, wadaiko / Taiko drums) with modern rock instruments (guitar, bass, drums) and distinctive 'shigin'-style vocals (or not), conventional vocals, rap, instrumental, whatever. My favourite is 'Ignite' - almost punk rock, staccato rap from Yuko (lead vocalist, fan, parasol, sword dancing) and Machiya (lead guitar), and shigin-style vocals from Yuko, or 'Synchronicity' - jazz/swing duet with Yuko and Machiya. So many different songs and style, all good. Their live shows and videos are epic. Also, Soch, The Band. 'Bol Hu'. Pakistani Folk /soul. WTF moment, like Jinjer's 'Pisces', but in a completely different way. Thanks again for reacting to Stand Atlantic. Since you like them, and if you don't know these other bands already, you might also enjoy Brisbane / Gold Coast band, 'Waax'. 'Labrador' is my favourite (about the suburb on the Gold Coast, not the dog). They sound somewhat similar to Stand Atlantic, but are more metal than pop-punk. Lead singer Marie DeVita has a similar tone, but more grit. Melbourne all-girl 'heavy pop-punk/metal' band, 'The Beautiful Monument'. 'Deceiver' was my gateway drug. They rock hard. Enjoy. Thanks again.
Dude! I got introduced to Stand Atlantic when they opened up for One OK Rock here in Boston, Ma a few years back. The one track that got me hooked instantly was "Coffee at Midnight". Not necessarily asking for a reaction video but since it's warming up and everything is starting to open up again, it's been a nice track to revisit.
Another great group in the pop punk realm is Bayside (also currently signed to Hopeless Records like these guys). Devotion and Desire or The Walking Wounded are probably the ones you'd get more requests for, but I think their later stuff is more similar to this, where catchy melodies/choruses mix with really high production, well written music Prayers ruclips.net/video/AFRJhCqCBy0/видео.html Sick, Sick, Sick ruclips.net/video/aqHsHCIrCvI/видео.html Stuttering ruclips.net/video/DbSB8WF0fmc/видео.html Interrobang ruclips.net/video/TWJS5OVXBG4/видео.html
Never heard them before - thanks for sharing. I'll have to dig into more of their stuff as I enjoyed that. Talking of pop punk, have you ever checked out Dragonforce's "Dragonforce writes a song in 10 minutes" videos? They have 4 or 5 of them now, and their Blink 182/generic pop punk one is glorious.
Stand Atlantic rip. I'm not wild about what I consider to be an abundance of vocal effects on the album this one's off or a couple of the less pop-punky tracks, but this song is a flawless ear worm. Was due to see them in April, but covid got in the way. This one will be a fun dance whenever the date gets re-arranged. They were great when I saw them tour the previous album. The end was a trail for the sister song, the more sombre Blurry. I'd recommend Bullfrog and Shhh! for sure if they're not among the ones you've already been exposed to.
Did not expect you to react to this band but I love that you did! I got into them last year right before this album came out. You should check out their song Chemicals if you haven't already. It's a certified banger! Coffee at Midnight and Sidewinder are also legit tunes.
you gotta revisit this band with a couple tracks off their new album, really any of them would be good choices. i saw them live last week and they were fantastic
First time hearing this band and now I’m hooked. There’s so many different bands that I never would have heard of if not for you. Could I suggest reacting to Larkin Poe - “Back Down South” or “Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues”. Love your reactions. Keep up the good work.
Heho Chase, i like all yor videos! :) But may i request for Nightwish that you do the whole Buneos Aires Show Song one by One... its just so great even better than the old ones in my Opinion, i know you have done some of it so far...
Here's a new one that would be sick to see a reaction of, Get Out by Dark Horse White Horse. Marcela is a powerhouse and we have Arjen to thank for helping her become more well known ruclips.net/video/UCGIaYBd-xA/видео.html
Found them back in 2019 I think and they easily became one of my favorite bands, all of their songs are amazing. I want to see them live so damn bad!
Same same
The outro is the intro their song “Blurry”. Which is basically the opposite vibe of this music video.
Glad you enjoyed it, think I spent most of last summer rocking out to this one
Love these guys. This is summer music for me
I'm a simple woman. I see "Jurassic Park," I click.
Started listening to them a month ago...and I have to say they are such a treat to the senses.

Thank you Chase I will take your advice and look up more about the band and their catalog. I'm all in.
It’s a bit pop-ier than I typically listen to, but anything Jurassic Park related gets my attention!
This is one of the best reaction/reviews I’ve ever heard. You did a great job explaining your thoughts and highlighted the parts of the song and what they contributed. Well done
Chase and the Dinosaurs. I've seen it somewhere already:)
I'm not much of a pop punk guy, but this certainly was a banger. Her voice is dope. Hoping you keep up the eclectic song selections!

Dam, what a banger. Aussies too.
Wow didn't expect you to react to Stand Atlantic. One of my favorite bands 😊
I recommend to check out their tripleJ cover of righteous, absolutely awesome
Okay and since you asked at the end of the video: Coffee at Midnight is also a banger if you don't know it already
Our hollow our home seven years. Do it
Dooooo itttttttt 😂
Oh and first! Because that's a thing right? Yeah....yeah first!
Now you have to react also to Blurry of Stand Atlantic. Its the following song and video of Jurassic Park.

A nice wake-up song.👍
You must hear "Coffee at Midnight" by them if you haven't already. My favorite out of many favorites by them. They haven't made one bad song

Hmm. Kinda Avril Lavigne-esque. Not my cup of tea, but it's well done.
