That initial sawtooth vocoder sound is very similar to the version of the Lord's Prayer Pink Floyd wrote into the song Sheep, from the Animals album.

Hello I Want to sound like a church chorus but I'm kindly new with vocoder, my keyboard has the correct sound but it seems that Mixcraft can only use the sounds of the bank in the program, is there any way where I can use the bank sounds of my keyboard? If I only can use Mixcraft banks, which virtual instrument sound do you recommend for my propose?
Hey there! For that it sounds like you're needing to record your keyboard into Mixcraft. So, you would need an audio input on your computer, or an audio interface to use with Mixcraft. You can actually use the Vocoder by manually entering a MIDI part note by note or use the musical typing mode as well to control if you don't have a MIDI controller or haven't quite hooked it up yet! even watching this I cant get any sound. if I remove vocoder effect from the mic the mic works. but once i try use vocoder, my mic is muted?

I get silence on my virtual instrument track whenever the vocoder VST is added..?? :/
Its best to start by adding a vocoder track. Then you can see how it is set up. Of course, you will need MIDI data as well.
@@acoustica222 Thanks for the reply! :) I've tried that, no matter what way I do it, once I add the vocoder FX to it, the track go's silent. If i remove it, I get sound back
@@hamtheman222 Make sure to watch the video again and make sure you have the latest build and version. (Check for updates) Otherwise, please contact our support to see what's going on. Its possible that you don't have the proper instrument set up on the virtual instrument track.

Anyone here can help? I just can't get any mic to work in real time, all I hear in the vocoder track is psst psst when I speak or make a sound. Tried 3 mics, both 3.5 and USB. Recording on audio track works just fine.

I use mixraft from version 6 till now mixcraft pro studio 8..... so come on guys upload more videos about the 9 version ....
We're working on them. (= We also have the help manual which is pretty exhaustive. Check the Help menu and choose "Help File"

So you need to talk and play at the same time correct?
Not necessarily! You could record the vocal part (or whatever sound you want to use) first, then play the vocoder after the fact. Entirely up to you!
How can i use vocoder for my mixcraft 8?
Hey there! For Mixcraft 8, you would need to use a third party vocoder effect as there isn't one included. Instructions for each plugin may vary, so you'd want to check the plugin manual once you find a vocoder plugin!

Ждал с нетерьпением новой версии, но русификатор пишет иероглифы какие то... ещё одна проблема! Очень загружает процессор и тупо висит комп, хотя я пока ничего не делал... только добавил дорожку! 8 ая версия работал более менее... решайте пожалуйста эти проблемы. Daw хороший, но для него нужен очень мощный комп, что не у всех есть 😊✌ Удачи!
Он должен работать так же быстро, как Mixcraft 8. Убедитесь, что сравниваете один и тот же проект в обеих версиях на одном компьютере, используя одно и то же аудиоустройство.
@@JosephClarke21 всё так, как в другом. Я даже плагин не загружал а грузит 30%...😔 я так полюбил этот daw, к сожалению у меня грузит комп. Пока перешел на reaper 6. Там всё летит 😊✌

I am watching this wondering when it`s going to stop being underwhelming. Didn`t occur,this is a load of crap. I have 8 Pro Studio,and i Love it. I have downloaded 9 on a free trial basis and i am struggling to find any videos that have anything to say. I am a Big Mixcraft Fan and a fair number of my Friends,now own M/craft 8 Pro,largely down to my advice. I hope i am wrong,and that there are hidden treasures that i have yet to discover,but my sensible bit of Brain is telling me that anything that would entice me to upgrade,would have been loudly hailed by Acoustica. My Drummer picked up 8 pro studio for silly money,so if i was a first time buyer,i would go for 8. The Vocoder ? Come on ! It`s a poor selling point and i would be bored with it within minutes,maybe even seconds. What a let down.
It's called the Performance Panel, which basically makes Mixcraft like Amplitube when you want it to.
When I was introduced to mixcraft 7 I was like. WOW. Pro Tools is overrated. And Mixcraft is getting better and better.
Mixcraft 9 skin is looks like very flat. Functions are ok.
