I know this is an older post, but i just looked this place up, as my girlfriend is a travelling nurse, we are set to come to palm springs in april, i just put together a couple new cars. Hoping to come see you guys, and hopefully some of that majic will rub off lol im 45, ive been in, and keep track of rc since i was about 12. So ive been seeing you for a long long time, through all the manufacturer changes, and industry changes and shrink and growth.
I'm a Reds man, have been for a few years now but that new AD II freaking screams. Sounds amazing and performs awesome. With your break in method I may have to make a switch. 🔥🔥🔥
Great driving Adam! I am headed out to my local track, to practice with my nitro buggy for the first time! It's a losi 3.0 with Reds wr7. I've had it finished for a month and a half, but the track been closed or wet... its dry and open now... later!
Who else noticed Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy in the background? Takes me back to the 90s when I was playing with toy grade RCs as a kid, but dreaming of being able to get hobby grade ones!

Gawd damn that things lean 😅 just 10mim runtime things aha. You can hear a false idle every now and then, that thing is tuned right on a knifes edge. Well done!!
Adam, how do you get it so lean without damaging the engine? That little os is screaming! Are these engine just capable of more Rpms? I feel like I would pop my motor if I tried to get it to go like that 😅
@@AdamDrake you just did a break in on my nova .28 8 modded and sold me some plugs . it screams like that in my truggy I wish I could drive as good as you to really see what it would do. I am getting a buggy next and was looking at the O.S. line to push it do you recall what size clutch bell you had in this video
That engine revs so freaking high. What engine is that and who modded it? It is too lean on the high speed needle? It just revs so freaking high!!! Sounds great but I want my engine to rev that high too but also last for a while ;).

I'm pretty sure that I'm "an odd man out" here but... Tooo Many Jumps!!!!! Where's the Side by Side slip-sliding through "technical-racing-lines-required" consecutive turns section? Jus saying! Awesome skills though Dude, Wowsers and how the heck do you land all that so smoothly even! But Where's "any" Turn-Related-Racing-Lines in this track? too much of "all one thing": Yuk!

To me, this is a good race tune and not hard on the engine when using a good fuel like Flash Point 30%.

No modification to the engine. It's the OS Speed B21AD2 with Flash Point 30% fuel.
Adam what pipe and manifold with that AD2?
TB02 with 75mm or TB03 with 75mm for buggy and 85mm for truck.

How fast are these lil cars always wanted one ikw they are very expensive tho
We gear the vehicles to have a good balance of acceleration and top-speed for the off-road tracks. The top speed with this gearing is about 40mph.
