"Blaze of Warring Spirits" is an original orchestral theme I composed for Mavuika, an upcoming character from Genshin Impact. She is speculated to be the God of War and Pyro Archon. I hope you like the music! :)

Love the orchestral twist to this theme! Really bringing in the war-like feel with this one!
Personally it sounds like a Capitano boss theme, but I can totally see how it fits Mavuika and Natlan, just maybe on the more grand and imposing side..?
Thank you! For this piece, I definitely aimed to bring a faster paced and more imposing feel across. I know Mavuika isn't confirmed to be the Pyro Archon yet, but I still wanted to get the god of war vibe going 😆
Interesting that this sounds like a Capitano theme to you. I can see where you are coming from, though for me, it would need to be more a little more ominous and threatening. I still need to come up with something for a Capitano theme in the future!

the acordeon reminds me of argentinian music
Thanks! I was definitely inspired by Argentinian music, particularly composers like Astor Piazzolla, when I decided to use the accordion in this piece! I've come to really enjoy its use in modern orchestras and thought it would be fitting in this theme! :)
This felt like a glorious version of the travail snippet
Oooh this is so cool!! I really love the foreboding that's sizzling underneath the surface from the very beginning, and on top of that the strong rhythms!! The bandoneon (I presume) is a perfect touch too, as well as the war-like trumpets hehe, I really enjoyed it!!

Everyone's coming out with fanmades for Murata lately it's very funny haha, but it was to be expected! I love your style so much, once again your unique musical talents shine through!
However, I have the impression that this music would suit Fontaine just as well (or even better xD) XDD. I think it's because of the accordion and the mysterious vibe.
For example, the part from 2:12 reminds me a lot more of Natlan, but the drop at 2:38... that's Fontaine XD I feel like I'm traveling in 4.0 during Lyney's magic show with this part.
Honestly, there's so much to hear in this piece, it's so well worked out it's incredible. Listening to it a second time you feel like you're discovering a new aspect you didn't hear the first time, I think it took me at least 4 listens to grasp the theme in its entirety XD
And what's more, if you wanted to do a Fontaine/Natlan transition theme, you've really managed to do it wonderfully, I can really hear both, your mastery is execptional, and it's even more execptional how you keep improving. Congratulations very well deserved!!!!!

Aaaa thank you so much for the praise Luna, your kindness knows no bounds 😭 And I can see where you are coming from. This could very well be a Fontaine theme given its orchestration and mysterious sound.
At the same time, I think many people generally associate orchestral or contemporary classical music with Fontaine due to its prevalence in the region, whereas previous regions had more ethnic and exotic sounds by comparison.
Personally, ever since the travail theme, the accordion reminded me of Natlan. But I understand that most people think of Fontaine when they hear it :D
Also, I really like the idea of this being a transitional theme that connects Fontaine and Natlan. I hadn't thought of it that way, but it fits!

I know many people associate the accordion (or even traditional orchestra in general) with Fontaine, but I've always thought it was fitting for Natlan. Especially since Natlan's travail theme also has the accordion in it, though it is more subtle there ^^
