Eth at 1200, seems unlikely to me when i think about the eth/btc ratio.
Would be another golden opportunity to buy for very cheap.
I got shocked when I heard that. I have been losing confidence in ETH.

Eth has been nowhere near its all time high of about $4800. It will go up when BTC goes up in price.

Thers lot of fresh 'new' assets arriving to the market for people to play with.
I don't see that happening. First, we are not in the same zone of the bull market as we were in 2020. Back then, we had corona dump and after that the halving came. So, unless there is some black swan event that will smack the entire crypto market again, that ETH value at or bellow 1200 si very improbable. Second, when looking at stochastic RSI on monthly, ETHBTC is right on 0 and it's doing the same as it did between 2017 and 2019: crashing to 0, then failed bounce then recovery. We are now at the failed bounce and back to 0.If we add the bullish RSI divergence between this low and the 08.2019 low, we should be at the bottom right now, or very close to it.
I’m not disagreeing with you. I am a beginner myself. From my understanding, Ben is basing this prediction on the Fed. He said since we aren’t in quantitative easing, ETH/BTC should fall, slowly, this year.

Don’t see this happening. Timeframe comparisons are off. That top from last cycle we had it this cycle but in spring 2023.

Would that mean Solana would do the same? Just seems like Solana bleeds less to BTC than Eth does. In fact Sol seems to outperform ETH most times and sometimes BTC.

Maybe we are in QE however the FED has lied to us saying we are in QT that's why we have seen eth, Btc rally. The BTFP was QE just an example.
The issue is BTC, it got an ATH before the halving, which never happened before, we are on unknown territory right now, what a weird market this cycle.

If something you wanna buy cheap is gonna drop a lot, you should be happy to get another chance buying low, instead of being scared. I do think we need brutal sell off to shake off weak hands so we can then start slowly recovering later this year, when most likely we have the crazy bull year ahead of us.

eths mc was significantly less than it is now resulting in more volatility so comparing drawdowns in the past and theorizing similar moves happening is pretty far fetched. 2k will definitely require the market to take a serious nose dive to 49k which i wouldn’t totally write off
Bitcoin is going up so Eth is not going down in USD, it will only outperform bitcoin at the end of the bitcoin bull run, because people want to make money else where so they will pump other coins, same thing with meme coins.

FED has reduced QT already.
Techincally QE has started because the fed cut their US TS monlthy selling from 60 billion to 25 billion. That is technically easing. I think CPI comes in lower this month and we get another leg up in crypto because data starts to point back in a direction where the fed can cut rates. They want to cut rates this year they have stated that but CPI has not allowed them.
Selling 25 billion is still QT

All I know is I’ve made a lot more on ETH than BTC, even though I put way more into BTC, probably because I sold ETH twice during the last bull run and held BTC.

Like we get less high tops, we probably get less low bottoms.
After potentially 6 red quarters in a row it seems likely ETH/BTC is already at its bottom more or less. Doesn't seem likely a 70% drop is coming for ETHUSD, it's not like 2019. If you plot the 120 SMA on the weekly chart, you'll see that historically once ETHUSD has closed above there have been no more significant drops until new highs. In 2019 the drop came before ETHUSD was able to close above.
