Mental! Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason always said this song was incredibly boring to play the drums to. I think these guys have solved that problem rather nicely.

I think this cover is far superior to BTBAM's cover. BTBAM didn't add anything new or interesting to the song, they pretty much just played it exactly like PF did. And I'm saying this as a die-hard BTBAM fan.

Misery Signals is probably one of the most influential Hardcore/Metalcorebands with their 7 Angels,7 Plagues origin.
One of the few bands,that is emotional and very complex at the same time, just listen to Mirrors.
This band deserves more recognition.

Pink Floyd is my favorite band. This is definitely a great cover. I think if you go back and think about the band for what it originally was, how many people do you think were saying that david or roger couldn't sing? Don't say that these vocals are bad, because in 10-40 years they are going to remembered the same way we remember the DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. This album was produced 40 years ago. Expect some heavy covers.

To everyone complaining about how they mixed their own style into it, why else would they cover it? If you wanted to hear the song the way it was written you should just watch a cover band, or the actual band's recordings of the song.
Exactly. Covers are incredibly boring when it's just the exact same song played the exact same way. The whole point of a cover is to play a song that's already been written, and to add your own flavor to it. Otherwise, you might as well jus be a bar band.
That's fine and all. They changed the key in the chorus to be really upbeat and that is not at all this fucking song. So if you want to listen to a cover you should at least be really familiar with original and I can tell you aren't at all.

This is actually really good. I was not expecting it to be this great. Being an avid fan of the genre of music Misery Signals plays and being an avid fan of Pink Floyd I find this to be very appealing
this is a cover of a song by a band. if you don't know what "covering a song" is then google that... go ahead ill wait... now google misery signals and listen to any song.. go ahead ill wait again... now this is misery signals, covering this song.. it sounds like pink floyd and then it sounds like misery signals.. if you don't like the band thats understandable, this type of music isnt for everyone. but dont say it sounds like shit because a. you dont like this style of music or b. it doesnt sound like the original. its a fucking cover. have a good day.

Holy shit, how did I miss this cover for this many years? I had no idea Misery Signals even made a cover song. This is fantastic and they did a great job mixing two styles together. I think this is the first song I've heard by them with this amount of clean vocals.

Both the original and this version of the song are amazing. I listen to many genres of music and Misery Signals will always be one of my favourites out of any of them. So much passion goes into their songwriting, not as much these days but they still continually put out good music. Whether you hate metalcore or not, you can't go past this band. Also Branden Morgan, their drummer, is classically trained. He could play fast and monotone metal if he wanted.

Calm down people. This is Misery Signals covering Pink Floyd, not Pink Floyd. A creative approach that adds your personal flavor is never a bad thing. Well, that might not be true but in any case where Misery Signals is the band in question, it's a work of art. If you aren't finding enjoyment in this cover because you can't get past that it doesn't sound enough like the original then I pity you.

I enjoy this cover, it has the spirit of the original but having the sound of a new metal band, and it sounds amazing! I'm sure all the living members of Pink Floyd would be happy with this if they heard it.

Pretty good for the metalcore style... I think if they had stuck with the clean vocals throughout, this would be a classic cover. The guitars and melody changes at 2:20 are great.
this band is very underrated which is a shame. they have some of the best guitar work out there right now. hopesfall was another band that didnt get the attention they deserved and they were gods at melodic breakdowns
What i dont thing some hear is the legion of angels singing in background of all versions of this song.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cover. It's a hell of a lot better than some of the other butchered songs on the Homefront soundtrack.

Okay, first of all, I don't dislike this because it doesn't sound close enough to the original. So if you're going to make that argument it's just a straw man. I dislike this because it sounds angry. This song is incredibly sad. Gilmour and Wright sing it with so much emotion in the original. Screaming can have emotion, but the vocalist here just sounds angry, and that robs the song of so much of its beauty and impact...

I knew them before homefront, ive never even played or heard anything about them being involved with homefront.
It's pretty good. I miss Shuma's vocals from 'Mirrors' though. And I thought it was funny when they say "God only knows" in this song, but they have a whole song dedicated to how God isn't real.

Damn, I don't hate it. It's actually a really refreshing take on the classic and very tastefully done despite the genre gap. The only bad bit is around the 2:30 mark: I'm docking points for the Godsmackiness. Fucking beautiful job, this.

Did a damn good on this cover. Can't find many decent Floyd covers other then the band Machine. I seen Jeff Tate and the dude from dream theater cover Floyd but totally failed.
Maybe your ears aren't very well tuned, no other band sounds like misery signals to me. They are one of the most easily recognizable sounds in metal IMO.
