The guy (Lukas) is not into her (Mizi) whatsoever, he basically manipulated her using her dead girlfriend to provoke her into losing
And most of the main cast are aware that both of the girls from round 1 are in love with each other

Brown hair girl (that saved Mizi in this round) - Hyuna
There's 2 Theories for this round:
1 - Is confirmed that Luka has won a Alien Stage before, he's really famous (as show in this video where aliens are holding a... Hologram? With the word "Prince" in it) so it's basically him mocking Mizi 'cause she has basically no chance against him
2 - He's working with Hyuna and was purposely provoking Mizi in order for her to snap and create an opening for Hyuna to save her
I'm more inclined to the first theory though, 'cause Luka seems really unmotivated and hopeless, like someone who has no will to fight. And looks like Hyuna is not really found of him.
In the trailer Hyuna and luka r seen together but hyuna dislikes him while he likes her
I think it’s just empty pleasantries when he says things like beautiful lady
When he says make me your god, aka idol,means die for me and make me the winner idol.
The perfect “subject” for him to manipulate, his “saviour” that will die for him.
Just like how in the start he kissed the former contestant he went against, as in a way to thank her for dying.
Basically he’s the type that will say “thank you for dying in my stead, I appreciate it”😊, but doesn’t mean it lol

In the video, he acts like he's playing with her. The above comment is also true, but to be more precise, it feels more like, 'Poor... No matter how hard you struggle, the stage is mine.'

So in the end, Mizi is not killed but taken away by some sort of rebellion (cause we see them fight guards).
And about skipping round 4: we already knew that the round was delayed because of some trouble with participants, so the girl in the end, who was looking at Luka and taking Mizi away, is Huyna and she was heavily implied to participate with Luka in round 4. Buuut as we see she's not a participant anymore and the one who Luka was competing with could've been shown dead at the start (either they killed themselves or simply lost cause we don't see the injury clearly). Anyway, something's happening and I'm here for it!
Can't wait to see what'll happen next~

I known this won't be a full season series but alien stages rounds remind me so much of the rwby trailer back in the day
I was thinking of Super Dimension Fortress Macross in all honesty when I saw Alien Stage. I know the stories are different, but since both series have idols singing in space with Aliens and then the retro vibes , I started to see some similarities. It made me think of Macross for some reason. If you know Macross , you a real one.

Anyways I really love Alien Stage. I hope we get a full series of it from Vivinos. They make so many great Anime series , it would be shame to have it cut short . I hope that dosen't happen! 😭
O m g I didn't know you watch Alien Stage?! I'm in heaven. I was really confused while watching the premier but there are some really great and interesting theories on Luka acting this way and Mizi being taken away. I am so excited for the next round but terrified at the same time since it'll be Till vs Ivan for sure... I really hope that Luka will end up working together with Hyuna!
Yeah just stumbled upon the series and been LOVING IT! Good amount of possibilities for where the story will go and I love it!
