Luka enjoys singing and being on stage because it is the only moment in his whole life where he has control, his guardian alien (Heperu) has control of every other aspect of his life, he's implied to be artificially made by his guardian and made only for alien stage (the perfect candidate for it), and because of that he has many diseases, those being asthma, chronic migraines, and congenital heart disease, and implied to also have cyanosis (the cause of his blue fingertips), he also is very physically weak and isn't expected to be living for much longer and because of that he went through many surgeries (you can see in his chest in round 7 the marks of some of them), his way of controlling the stage is that he obscures himself and puts an act of (someone's special) other and reminds people of those who've they lost Hyuna, the ruler of his heart, was the one who approached him first in Anakt Garden, she taught him a lot of things, told him her reason of enjoying singing (which he made it his) and introduced him to Hyunwoo (Hyuna's younger twin brother). Hyuna, Luka and Hyunwoo were friends back then in Anakt Garden, they were very comfortable with each other (Specially Hyuna and Luka, their bond was very strong) as seen in their collars that were green most of the time (green signifies good emotions, and red signifies strong emotions) Hyunwoo and Luka always got in fights (playfully) and Hyuna always step to stop Hyunwoo from harming Luka in their fights, Luka developed something for Hyuna, some kind of obssesion or something with her, he always said that her life is his, which in a way it is, because she's absent, she scrubbed herself of any of these sticky connections but he's taken the control she once described to him and made it his, become her enbodiment when every other aspect of his life is controlled by heperu. in the narrative, she exists for him & is simultaneously secluded from the audience, the thousand preying aliens, until he sees her in the stage and his easy facade falls.. There's a popular theory that Luka didn't kill Hyunwoo (at least directly), because from the alien stage art book it's implies that Hyunwoo was the strongest individual in Anakt Garden back then (second being his sister), and we know that Luka was the weakest physically, the theory says that Hyuna stopped a fight between them and she pushed Hyunwoo and accidentally killed him due to Hyunwoo's head falling in a rock. We don't know what exactly happened, or Hyuna's exact feelings towards Luka, but in the official artwork with them together Hyuna always let him be intimate with her (holding her waist, being close to her, massaging her) despite her awkward or angry expression towards him, in the official Art book, in her profile relationship regarding him she says that she should have never approached him first and she avoids saying anything else, in the art book it's also said that Hyuna was the first Human in alien stage to lose and survive, so it's implied that she lost against Luka in season 49 of Alien Stage (Most likely in the finale), I assume her leg is what she lost back then.

He was still in the mindset of having lost everyone and when he finally saw Mizi it was too late. Luka knew how to break him cause he had no time to prepare for it all to come down like that. @@Maebyl it wasn't really a sacrifice, he was doing it for himself. He knew that if Till died he wouldn't be able to live without him because Till was his universe. He knew that Till didn't think of him that way and he would be able to live without him. He never thought of being a sacrifice because he didn't even want to die. Ivan once said "Thank you for being the victim to my shallow emotions." He thought he was being selfish.

However, through the artbook we see his percentage in how significant Ivan is to him is 70%. All he says is that he doesn’t get Ivan and he is frustrated by how much he doesn’t know why Ivan act the way he does with him. We see him through a comic hurt by Ivan’s words that he doesn’t have friends because Till views him as such. Then Vivinos has confirmed that he has a love-hate relationship with Ivan that is so painfully human. Ivan never would have thought that he was capable of being Till’s trauma like Sua was for Mizi due their requited love for each other. Ivan never would’ve thought how similar he and Till are in their complicated relationship.
I’m glad you actually took your time to put yourself into the characters shoes, like just you understanding that Luka was also Someone fighting for his life and doing what he had to do was a nice touch. I love Lukas complexity. Since he’s won more than one contest it’s understandable that he’s desensitised to everything and indifferent, trying to find entertainment in what he’s doing since he’s 30 and still stuck in this place. But on the other hand I hate him for doing these actions too, like hurting Mizi, Hyuna and Till. Sorry for the rant :>

It’s very likely that he isn’t treated by any means bearably by the alien that owns him + his sickness. And apparently there’s some works from the author that say he loves to eat a lot but can’t eat that much because of his condition so him being starved like this must be unbearable. I’m GAGGED 😭😭😭. 30 years of that must suck + the whole alien stage thing. I’d go insane too icl. Ofc some of this is a hypothetical rant so apologies again 😭😭

Fun fact the reason why Ivan kissed Till it was because Till stopped singing which wouldve had result in a penalization for him which it wouldve been that the collar around his neck exploded or that he instatntly lost the round (the reason why till stopped singing was because he started to give up because he thought Mizi had die) thats why after Ivan kissed Till he started to choke him so the penalization was for him instead of Till (Till never looked directly at Ivan because he had a crush on Mizi, but at the end Till looked directly at Ivan and thats why he died smiling, because Till finally looked at him directly) also Ivan always gave Till freedom because he always wa the one to unchain him

Seeing as Hyuna is still injured and Mizi is in the exact same clothes as round 6, I'm pretty sure round 6 and the finals were back-to-back in the same day. Vivinos really gotta twist that knife, no?
actually it's confirmed in the official patreon that till loved ivan he had a deep love hate relationship with ivan, and no till DID not love mizi, he was in love with how free she was and since he wasn't grown in a lovable environment he craved loved and so he mistook his admiration illusion for love.

The comics and songs are different material that go together to tell the story, so the MVs aren't actually adapting anything pre-existing.
